So you blame the program because of your stupidity? Wow.

Like _CP_ say above: Steam>Games>GTA V>Properties>Local Files>Verify Cache

Any idea why it takes a while though?

Does it have to rebuild an archive of some sort?

It is because of archives-in-archives thing.

To make space for new/edited file OpenIV moves archives inside parent archive (in your case x64g.rpf) it might take some time.

First of all, you had been warned about making backups.

Second, as _CP_ says you can verify your game to restore original files.

We don't support any sort of pirated content here. Discussion ends there, any posts about it after this will be removed.

I'm not into reporting stuff unless I know it's not working only for me, so I'm wondering if anyone can just check if 2.7 OpenIV is crashing for averyone when trying to open/export certain audio .awc files?

I'm crashing with "EReadError: Stream read error" in most larger +5mb .awf files in RADIO.rpf's. Mono files are working, so are certain large.awc files. For example, files in RADIO_08_MEXICAN.rpf, _JAZZ.rpf, works. While most of the rest don't.

Anyway, just wondering if it's only me, and I need to repair my whole installation.

Pardon me if this question was already asked. Is there any way to convert .wdr files to .ydr if FiveM no longer is supported and no longer supports the latest GTAV exe?

This is my burden:

You need to wait for openFormats for GTA V models which will be in one of next version of OpenIV.

Im sorry for that day, but is that possible to preview the whole character model, if not pls add it to the next version. And I figured out why my game crashed, that was my problem and I rebuilt the archive, but I reinstalled and installed tons of greater mods tnx to OpenIV

Yeah, It's definitely something on my side. I now have it down to ether hardware conflict, installation or key thing. I was fooling around with it for some time. Opened OpenIV in Admin mode, moved .rpf files to different hard drives, craziest thing was that files that worked once would crash the other time, it was almost trial and error.

Tried it on two different windows installations, came crash on same files, finally I went and tried it on a different computer, and every single file worked on the first try.

Oh, I recognize this guy.

You were bitching at me about my beach apartment map not loading properly, well there's why. Menyoo isn't supported for pirated versions.

You're a little kid. Recognize that there are grown ups who work hard on making mods, and if our mods are popular, that means they work for most people. If something doesn't work for you, realize that there's a very good chance it's your own fault before you throw a tantrum at people over the FREE entertainment they make for you.

Sorry to stray off topic, GooD-NTS, looking forward to the next update.

I don't make mods, but to ask anyway: Will be there soon support for...

1. ...map modeling? Because since FiveM was shutdown, now there is now no way to play any custom maps in GTA V due to lack of tools for making them?

2. ...ysc script editing? I ask since now there are new .ysc making recently added vehicles in last patch of GTA V to be deleted upon spawning in SP, and seems there is no workaround for that issue without support for editing those pesky scripts?

Yes. But, this feature will come after openFormats for models (YDR/YDD).

As far I know there is already some workarounds.

[...]

I just updated GTA V (through steam) downloaded updated scripthook and re-added plugins & everything worked. Then I updated OpenIV installed Openiv.asi played with unmodded .rpfs - everything fine. Modified handling.meta and game won't start.

reverted to original update.rpf installed some 3rd party mod through openiv game won't start.

So yes I think the Openiv.asi loader needs updating but I haven't been able to find an updated version at this point.

[EDIT] Then again - I just found an error in one of the files I was editing in so it might be a user problem after all.

[EDIT] Openiv.asi works fine, it was errors in my own modified files that was the problem.

The "Install to Mods Folder" option shows only if you have OpenIV.ASI installed.
