andysonofbob
I have a MadCatz 360 gamepad. Which claims it is officially licensed for XBox 360. GTA recognises it as a 360 gamepad and uses the button names accordingly. Unfortunately the trigger buttons arent acting as analogues like they should but more like normal buttons. Is there a work around? I have looked at the gamepad sticky but my problem isnt actually mentioned. Thanks in advance. GamerX5500
Installing different drivers might fix the problem. You should E-Mail RockStar support about this. Ask them if the regular 360 controller supports trigger sensitivity. I've been wondering this myself. I borrowed an actual microsoft 360 pad and the triggers were pressure sensitive - a very useful feature for controling vehicle across sand etc I have tried my pad on a number of games and true to the box they all think it is a 360. I have also played games like GRID which like GTA use the triggers for break and acceleration and my MadCatz pad works fine (game believes it is a 360 pad like GTA). Why does GTA detect the gamepad as a 360 but doesnt want to use their pressure sensitive functionality?! Is yours an actual microsoft 360 wireless pad? When I borrowed the Microsoft 360 pad from my friend RT and LT worked as advertised. This wasnt a wireless pad though.
