Engioc
I dont understand what is happening when I race online. I have same car as others who end up wining, but yet straight off the start line they out drag me easily getting a good lead even before reaching any turns or anything else that might slow me down compared to them, why is my car (the same as theirs) so much slower off the start line?? I just don't get it, do I need to be pressing something extra to make it go faster apart for accelerate? Do I need to complete more of singlaplayer mode to unlock something?? I'm just really confused why the same car has such a difference in speed right from the start of a race. deejayb1874
If you're in a car which has power to all 4 wheels, hold down handbrake/e-brake button and release when clock timer is at 1 second, and you will get the same quick launch. The cars I believe this works with are the Comet, Infernus, Sultan RS and I think the Patriot, Cavalcade and other off-road style cars. Don't know about others, anyone? Also on bikes you wheelie off the line to get a quick start, just don't let the arse of the bike hit the ground. GTAIVMAC
This trick should work on all the cars - though keep it quiet! Don´t spread the word Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/388031-online-racing/#findComment-1058815370 Share on other sites
deejayb1874
It defo doesn't work with a Coquette mate, you always wheelspin and drop behind other cars. Same with Sabre GT and Sentinel, all RWD cars. The 80/20 split in the AWD vehicles pulls you out os the wheelspin straight away, and then the revved engine kicks in. Trust me mate. ihasamelon
As a motorcyclist, I haven't a clue how you know if a car is RWD or AWD. How do you know these things Deejay? deejayb1874
Well, I got to rank 6 on racing alone... There are no true 4WD cars in the game, and the AWD cars listed have 4WD variants in real life. Trial and error as well to see which cars give the turbo start. i need to do racing more again, losing my driving abilities now due to lack of practice.
