neilf4321
I am having similar problems as others are having with the texture issues, no menu, no hub etc. It won't let me change the video resolution - stuck at 800x600, and when I click auto configure it sets everything (shadow density, detailed view) to 0 or 1. My laptop specs are: CPU: Intel® Core2 CPU T7200 @ 2.00GHz (centrino duo) CPU Speed: 2GHz System: RAM 2GB Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition, 32-bit (Service Pack 1) Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX I have installed the Nvidia drivers 180.70. I have tried to install the Nvidia drivers 180.84 with a modded inf file (laptopvideo2go.com). This driver has been recommended by Rockstar to fix the issues - BUT the driver does not seem to install. Everytime I install it and restart the computer, the drivers remain at 180.70. I think this is because the 180.84 driver does not support Nvidia Geforce Go cards. Is Rockstar releasing another patch? Is Nvidia going to release a new driver to support the Geforce Go cards? Does anybody know how else I can get this game to work on my laptop? Any guides, links etc are appreciated! Krug
I have the same specs as you (XPS M1710) and I'm having the same problem, but only after I run the Benchmark test. But if I dont otherwise, I'm stuck with all this weird black sh*t everywhere. Thanks for the link to the laptop version of the 180.84 driver though. I was really pissed that it completely skipped my card.
