Sound Troubles

When I am playing the game on my surround system, i am having tons of problems. i can hear some sounds just fine (radio, voices, footsteps) but some sounds appear to be drowned out by radio and such. for example, when I am driving i can hear the hum of the engine and the radio, along with pedestrians talking and stuff, but when I crash my car into anything cant hear the impact.

 

now i dont know what is wrong, but what i have noticed is that the center speakers have extremely low volume and that is possibly why i cant hear the car crashing. whats wrong? when i switch to stero that doesn't work because that will just put me to the center speakers which i cant hear crap out of. when i switch to headphones i can hear all the sounds clearly. this doesn't happen with any of my other games, so whats wrong? anyone else have this problem?

I can't hear any voice from my center and sub woofer, whyyyyyyyyyyyyy????
