cellul
Hi, I have a serious problem with GTA IV that no one seems to have experienced; I simply can't find a similar case reported on any forum! Problem occurs: Everywhere!! Game version: Retail OS: Windows Vista 32-bit Processor: Intel Core2 Quad Q9550 VGA card: XFX Geforce 8800GTS 320Mb DDR3 RAM: 4GB During gameplay, my screen is filled with distortion in the form of tiled, square patterns all over the screen. They are there all the time, whether I'm playing (live game action) or during cutscenes! They are not there on the intro, menu or loading screens though (except the graphics menu which shows the frozen in-game image). They can be seen in the thumbnails below, but please click on the links next to them to see the larger screenshots. Corruption within initial cutscene In-game corruption Graphics settings I have tried every possible measure to fix this problem, including upgrading my Nvidia drivers to 108.84, but there was no improvement! I have tried the -norestrictions switch and tried tens of different graphics configurations, including different texture and rendering quality, resolution, etc. but it didn't help! I even went to the extreme of formatting my machine, reinstalling windows with just all the drivers (and nothing more!!!), and it is still giving me this problem!!! I have no problem playing other new games like Need For Speed Undercover!! Am I really the only one experiencing this problem?! I can't find any similar reports anywhere! Can anyone please help as I'm really desperate at this point! Regards, Clyde Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/387597-serious-visual-corruption/ Share on other sites
