I think The Fire-man Is not Good In Visual Effect,The Fire Are From The Same Source, But Good Job

LOL, nice one. Actually the whole thing was an unexpected side effect! All I did was replace all "blood_gun_entry" strings in bloodfx.dat with "ambient_fire_generic". The end result was the incendiary bullets, but of course it made ALL bullets incendiary. tounge.gif

Ok, I figured out how to have only the deagle use incendiary bullets.

 

Download and extract to your base GTAIV directory (where the exe is).

 

In case of problems, there is only one file : bloodfx.dat

 

This file goes in \Grand Theft Auto IV\common\data\effects

 

Incendiary Bullets

 

Do what thou wilt with it.

aceship: Its ok, no worries. If you do want to try it, all you need to do is rename your original bloodfx.dat to bloodfx.da_ before installing this mod. When you're bored with it, just rename it back after deleting my version.

very cool, ill check out the new Deagle's ammo, course this means ill prob be lit on fire too. heh.

 

While on the topic of the bloodfx.dat, do you know of a way to dramatically increase the amount of generated effects? ive been trying to make sense out of the data but ...i seem to be missing something. Heh anyone up for a bloodfx editor?..meh yea i guess its not that important. still, id like to see if it was possible.

I actually created a function in LUA that makes an exploding CIRCLE around myself, sorta like in Fable 2 (doesn't look like it though)

Thats awesome man! Any way to make it so only the (PSG1) sniper rifle has it, instead of the deagle? Could be utterly godlike!
