[Q]Explosion of GTA IV

Dear Mods!!!<<<!<!<!

 

We are very happy you heard our voices and and created a seperate area for us to discuss gtaIV/RAGE. But with the explosion of GTAIV editing/modding do you believe we are at that stage yet where we can get our own mini-GTAIV modding zone?

 

I think with new programs, ideas, and everything we will need to keep this new way of intrest and findings in an organized area.... away from III, VC, SA.

 

My 2 cents, please add yours.

I think there should be a Showroom for GTAIV, but is not so much needed.

at least a showroom and a section dedicated to any kind of scripting

You are allowed to use existing forums to showcase your findings. There's not much activity in those forums anyway, IV modding should keep them alive.

Maybe move everything non-GTA IV into a 'legacy' area instead. There're more people who wants GTA IV mods than say GTA SA mods. It makes it hard to find GTA IV mods if you have it in the same area as GTA SA, GTA III VC, etc.

 

I know you have the icon, but it defaults to some starry looking thing each time you edit or post. So easy for someone to forget to change back to IV icon. That makes it harder to look when icon is not IV but topic/mod is for GTA IV.

 

I see people post release now in the GTA IV/RAGE thread because it's just for GTA IV. Come on mods, do something already.

im sure theyre discussing a new format, or at least i hope that this here is just a temporary fix
