Is this game seriously this easy...?

Recommended Posts

30 missions in and I haven't been stuck... would you say this game was easy? compared to San Andreas this game has been a walk in the park so far.

San Andreas was easy aswell. At least for me. I went through both games with just a handgun.

did you guys actually play thrugh the story mode using auto aim? c'mon people....do it without the auto aim, it ups the challenge a little bit and it's good practice for multiplayer. also, in the options menu, switch the targeting to basic instead of complex. helps with the headshots. anyway, that's just my preference, see if you like it better that way, too. sorry, i just loathe the entire concept of auto aim.

some mish can be a pain.. and some where you expect them to be hard.. they are very simple.

some mish are very long including a long drive , shooting , driving away and shooting more..

and others just a pickup and delivery.

its a matter of getting yer hp fixxed when ya do the next mish.. or you can be screwed.

but yeh.. gta 4 is easier then San andreas, and it seems shorter.

Yeah, I played IV without auto aim, and since I play cs 1.6 and CSS it was easy! colgate.gif

Free-aim is easier. No need to cycle enemies & head shots.

Auto-aim is easier only for novices.

yeah IV is easier, i never even finished SA. i got to the mission where you fly the RC planes for the nerdy kid. it drove me insane. i just took out the disc and chucked out the window like a frisbee. f*ck it. never touched it again. i can live with that.

Ive tried. I liked no auto aim but i don't have a HD television so i cant see the enemies too well so that's why i have to go back to auto aim sad.gif

You do know those missions aren't mandatory right?

OMG haha ZERo that bitoch drove me insane. That was the hardest mission ever. God jesus i was going to shoot myself

IV was definitely easier. But it was easier in a good way, it didn't have any missions that just made you go "Goddamnit, if I fail this f*cking mission one more time I'm gonna f*cking throw my computer out the window" and also didn't have all those annoying side missions which you would only consider doing if you really want 100% completion. All the side activities are really fun and interesting in IV.

Agreed.

SA was hard, and really annoying. I ended up finishing the story mode, then just downloading a save game.

IV had a couple of challenging missions, but nothing too difficult. I don't play games that often, so I loved every minute of it. It's not the only GTA (to date) that I've been able to get 100% in eventually.

Really? I thought shooting missions in GTA4 are much harder than the ones from the III era because Niko takes much more damage from gunshots because R* went for realism. One shot from a glock takes away like a quarter of your health, unlike in San Andreas where a shot from the colt would probably take away an eighth of your health.

But GTA 4 didn't have any of those stupid RC missions so that's what probably made it easy.

Dude I wanted to jump out the window.. but after playing Metal Gear Solid 4, I think those RC Plane missions were a piece of cake.
