Converting Endorphin anims to GTA

Cool!!!

Its posible to make normal animations like: Jump, Die, fight...

Yeah. Im messing around and the results are just great.

The modding for SA would be amazing now.

 

enbseries, etc.

 

They can make SA look better than GTA IV now!

 

If there was a IV to SA conversion

Animations needed:

 

Walk

Run

Sprint

Jump

Climb over the fence/wall

fall of a motorbike

 

more less that's it?

Why does everybody seem to think doing this will give the old GTA games physics and rag doll like IV?

 

All it does is give you rag doll looking canned animations.

We made something for the Biohazard mod by using this method. I can't make new ones for sa because I'm working on that.

Nice, is it released ? or we have to wait till Biohazard complete ?

 

animators is kinda rare, or no body seem to care anymore, but this is really awesome and was missing in SA for a long time ... you guys are our only hope for now

 

and anyway you don't have to change all the anims now, just a couple of the important stuff like the jump, climb, death anims... and keep the rest as WIP sigh.gif

Thanks, don't worry about your appreciate! I couldn't show this tutorial too to make our mod different from the others, but this is useful to make other anims (I mean not like ours to make the actor walking as a zombie). I didn't remember to get an award by creating a tutorial to make some particular stuff, but now it takes me to receive it.

Futu looks awesome tounge.gif I made some anims like that for zombies too. Still have to finish them.

 

I almsot finish to replace the falling anim. Including Fall + Hit Ground + Get Up

You should add to the tutorial that you need to rotate the endorphin guy 180o before you do anything else

otherwise when you put it in gta he faces the wrong way.

 

Also i've noticed that when I do convert the anim to VC when the animation plays their legs seem to grow and their spine compacts could you make some kind of thing i don't know that will make the proportions correct for vice city?

There seems to be an error when I open the biped.max and when I do other stuff - am I missing some DFF plugin?

The file is saved with MAX 9/7 i tihnk, you may need a recent version of 3D MAX.

I'm using Max 8, and I don't get an error about the version, so I presume it was saved in Max 7.

 

Let me rephrase that, the file does open but I get lots of warnings and most sh*t goes wrong.
