And second, when it's new year, it'll take really long until they're done so just be patient. to tell u the truth, i really dont care if they have to miss christmas in order to make the game work. R* are a bunch of fu**ing liars!!! they lied about the minimum system requirements. i know because i passed those requirements, and the game is still completley unplayable. if i would have known this, i would have never thrown away my cash like that. the only reason they lied about the requirements was so more people could buy the game and they could make more money. BASTARDS!!!! this game is so badly optimized that sometimes it runs pretty smooth (although not as smooth as it should, by pretty smooth i mean 25 fps at most) and other times, it doesnt run at all!!. wat pisses me of the most is that during random times, it could be from the first 3 minutes of gameplay to the next hour of gameplay, the game enters wat i call "unplayable mode". it goes from running at an acceptable level (by this i mean 20 fps at most) to an unplayable level, where the game lags so damn much that iam forced to exit it, because it becomes completely unplayable!!! this happens wen i run it at high graphic settings, or low graphic settings. to me, this is wat annoys me the most, because wen iam in the middle of a mission, i am forced to quit and restart the game. and a lot of the times, (and by a lot i mean 85% of the time) wen i restart the game it goes into "unplayable mode" again, and again ,and again!!! even after restarting my pc. i have done every trick in the book to make this game playable, and still no success. this goes to R*: i really hope that your company goes bankrupt, and that u have to fire every single one of your employees!!!! i hope that u owe so much money to people that u will need to sell your 200,000 dollar cars, your mansions, and all your dam possesions!!!! i hope u loose everything u have and have to go live under a bridge, i really do. this is the LAST time i will EVER buy a game from your POS company!!!!!!! instead of swimming in STOLEN cash, u should get your asses up, and start making as many patches as neeeded in order to make this damn game playable. the only game that actually takes advantage of quad core proccessors is this one. but not because of its amazing graphics, but because of how sh*tty the coders are!!! how would you feel if you we're one of those coders? u stupid f*cking piece of sh*t give them some slack u c*nt just because your out of $50.00 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Be it your husband, wife boyfriend, grlfriend, kids or parents. ITS XMAS!!!!!! As for the non religious type, Xmas is a time when all family members are free from work. Thats why families get together. Whether you believe in christ or not doesnt even come into the equation. And for those who dont have a family, Even more reasons to chuck the dvd to one side. Get urselves a girlfriend or boyfrend (whatever tickles ur fancy). NO!!!! a real life girlfriend or boyfriend!!!!! NOT a virtual one from the game!!!!!! You know they did a sh*t job of this and if its not fixed then thats it for me, but this is the best advice i have seen hear, we can only wait, not matter how much bitching we do its not going to change things now. I keep thinking of how previous 3d GTA games never got completely fixed with patches. like I still have the thunder/rain sound bug in GTA:SA even now, with the patch that was supposed to fix it applied, or like some people never got GTA3 to run correctly... but, hey, who knows? maybe they've changed and actually plan on making GTA4 PC playable for most people... what hasn't changed though is the complete lack of proper communication from them. sure we have some Rockstar Toronto user popping in and out of here, helping some guys every now and again, but it hardly qualifies as official communication, more like an individual initiative from some dedicated developer or something. problem is, I think, keeping silent in such a situation is not going to do much good for the company's image in their customer's eyes. talk to us, for f*ck's sake. be it just to tell us we have to wait a little longer for a better patch to come out, most of the gamers with a IQ higher than 30 realize that anyway, but it would feel a lot better than being left with crazy speculations from everyone and his mother and it would sure look less like we're going to be stuck with a buggy, rushed console port because you guys don't give a damn. it's like they're afraid of the customers' reaction so they try to act like 1)they don't give a f*ck, 2)they're doing all they can, so they don't have to tell us anything about what they're doing internally about it. well, sorry R*, but you kind of have to since, remember? we paid for the game. for a working game that we can actually enjoy as long as our PCs meet the minimum requirements printed on the box, and that is simply not what you've delivered right now. so no need to say sorry, we're pretty sure you are, but a little "we're actually doing our best to bring you another patch that'll fix the issues you people are complaining about, it'll only take more time" would be really reassuring. sure, you are going to be torched alive by most of the angry posters, but hey! that's the internet for you, and you're already getting torched anyway. I might be very wrong, but you should ask yourself why there are only a handful of games requiring DX10 while the new API has been there for developers to code for for like 2 years now... Thats why it's very demanding no, really, it isn't. and people still trying to push that moronic theory (no offense, it just is a very moronic theory) ought to consider doing some reality check. you cannot emulate x360 at reasonable speeds on current PCs and even if you could, porting the game from console specific code to PC would be (is) much more simple. I think it will go something like ... expansion pack release with a patch included / patch arrives as separate download also as the pack is available. I would think all the things listed in the forums/feedback and everywhere else is allot to take on and work a patch from, plus the fact they are and will be working on expansions/updated (the mention of allot more video editor update things from R* Toronto in the main thread for example). When I saw the game before I took the plastic of the package I was so happy. But after removing the plastic my life have been hell ever since! Its the ugliest game I have ever seen, so poor made only cares about vram when setting up the game weird weird weird! no anti-aliasation.. and shadows an f*cked up weird big square things tha gets in the way all the time. the grahics looks like mafia made the year after. but the with more ugly and anoying flashing edges. but the worst thing is that I have to smile everytime my mother talks about the game she bought for christmas. I can't say that I can't play the game cause the developer screwed everything up. so I have to lie to my mother THANK YOU ROCKSTAR for this nice christmas gifts........ as*****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
