Der Prozessor war vom Typ Z80A (Hersteller ZiLOG). Bei diesem Chip handelte es sich um einen 8-bit-Prozessor, der in der "A"-Version mit 4 MHz getaktet war (Z80: 2,5 MHz; Z80B: 6 MHz; Z80H: 8 MHz). hehe,,,how time flew by... My first ever home PC installation was of Horace Goes Skiing on the ZX48K rubber key box of dreams, I was somewhat underwhelmed by Horace, but offset somewhat by my purchase of Hypersports. GTAIV is on the Horace Goes Skiing edge of the Spectrum*, of current fare available to the gaming market. Shame, after playing the PS3 version I couldn't wait to play it properly, consoles have destroyed the minds of these kids, some are actually satisfied with this game. *See what I did there? And that was round ...1984.(They had it earlier in US of course...) the first wave of pcgaming was around 1992/93. commander keen on a 386 and so on...you get the point. before that amiga or c64 though i was more a fan of this sega console sh*t,,,you see The first wave of pc gaming around 92/93?? In terms of IBM compatible PC's as they where called I played such games as : Jazz Jackrabbit, Commander Keen, Doom, Hexen, Test drive, Space quest and Leisure Suite Larry series infact a lot of sierra titles, but in terms of Personal Computer, I started on the Spectrum (still have it now ) 10 hours of typing for the thing to crash ;-) P.S Sorry for hijacking the thread aswell... but still no patch ! The texture problem i s going to be verry annoying. i think this issue not realeted with mem leaking. my textures down on low or on high stettings... everything maxed i played game avrg 30 fps.. but he textures sucks... I do software coding at my job, no where NEAR as complicated as a 3d game, and to trace down a bug that effects EVERYONE takes days, much less if we have one customer with a specific bug we need to find, that can take a week. and this is all on rack servers that are strictly controlled on what hardware it contains and what software its allowed to have it on, even the specfic VERSION of those softwares that are allowed. Now combine that code scanning and fixing with rockstars obstacle of literally 1000's of hardware combination's that the scripting may bug out on, (not to include god knows how many programs running at the same time on said machine that can cause problems) and try to trace down the problems. +10000000000000000 Most reasonable post here! As longer will we wait as more time R* will have to find more bugs and do better optimization. Really, fixing and optimizing all that sh*t Toronto done may take monthes. And if they will publish news that patch in progress then everyone of u will start to yell that u want to see it today and other sh*t. Nothing quoted there even makes it more likely that there will be a patch for GTA IV. The choice of langauge is PR-speak, it exists to protect the share price and that is the only function of it. They can't downgrade the game to make it work on your computer, nor can they optimise it anymore I think. It would be too major to let it work on nowadays dual cores or whatever. craig3000 Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 for the majority my game is playable do i think it should be smooother hell yeah what i was expecting from GTA4 was the settings doubled from console, my norm res 1280x960 and 2xAA to give me around 40-50FPS avvg what i get is the settings just under doubled, my res, no AA because it cant do it even if it could it would actually implode to give me around 26-30FPS avg the thing is as it goes on it seems to get worse aka the whole memoru leak thing so tommorow i will be trying memturbo and closing social club at start menu see if it helps disappointed as i owned it on 360 but then i got a new PC got rid of 360 so wanted to carry on playing thought hey this will be good better graphics, higher framerate and other features turned out to be rubbish only difference is it has a video editor 70% of devs are crappy nowadays, they produce inefficient bugged work and then dont even bother to patch it properly and the number of demos being released is lowwww, try before you buy you know? not let them buy it and watch them be tormented while we have millions of profit anywho its not too be bad for me expected way more and im sure a lot of you are ashamed !!!
