But with stutters/crashes/slow downs/GFX glitches the game needs a overhaul... No GFX options ingame at all, Rockstar saying the PC players are to "retarded" for all the options, thats what Rockstar thinks, so they remove them... Great, its a PC not a console... Consoles dont need GFX options, but the PC does... AFTER people started complaining big time, Rockstar said the PC version is "next gen" and doesnt run good on the PCs now adays... IF so, then ALL the "next gen" GFX and so on that is not put in GTA IV, so conclusion is they are not holding up their end of the bargain... So the sales is getting poor and retarded. There is some things to decrease the sales. Fix these memory leak, fix these graphics issues, fix these textures missing, fix these crashes (even anything and anything is installed that GTA4 requires.) Add AA, fix these dithered Microsoft Paint shadows. If you asshats fix all these issues/troubles, you can swim in your hard earned money. And dont be corrupt to the GameSpot with their review: I runs perfectley on 3-years-old-machines! Here's my theory of what will happen from my many dealings (and attempts to deal with) Rockstar: As soon as someone who is in a position to give a response reads you email, they'll go into sulk mode, and you'll never hear from them (or the entire company) again on the email address that you used. Yeah, the game IS that good. That's why the quality of the port is such a disappointment. I agree that RE4 etc are not in the same league as far as PC user's enthusiasm is concerned. It is gratifying for us to look at the words "poor sales" and imagine that rockstar are only getting their due for a PC product that works hard at every turn to undermine our excitement with graphical, sound, control and performance issues. Hell, I spent 8 hours knee-deep in regedit before SecuROM would let me play the damn thing at all. But most prospective buyers (such as myself) only find out about this stuff after they've payed their money and been slapped in the face with it. And, like me, most are probably too GTA-hungry to actually take it back. I think the main reason is, it's hard for an 8-month-old PC port to make a huge impression in the sales charts. And I think R* knows this, because the game has basically slunk into stores and quietly insinuated itself onto the shelf with absolutely no fanfare whatsoever. Since anyone with a PS3 or X360 who likes GTA already owns it, it's only really the hard core who they're pitching to. What these problems are really hurting are the PC sales of the next one.
