After today's match, we will be able to see if we have enough interest for two matches each weekend.

 

I am hoping someone else (Bates maybe?) would host one and I will host one. We can then make two seperate lists, one for Sat. and one for Sun. and should be able to get two fairly full matches in that some would play in both (like myself). Doing two matches simultaniously is logistically hard to do. This would work better and make it easier for ppl to get into one match or the other. I just don't want to have to host both.

 

Anyway, see you guys in 6 hours.

You didn't miss much though. Complete clusterf*ck...again. We had some extra spots so some ppl invited 'outside' people. A cpl played along, but a cpl others (along with a few regulars, I might add ) decided to f*ck around (griefed the match, basically).

 

I understand that its all in fun, and these matches ARE for fun...but if you want to grenade teamates, go grief TWs or Coop or something.

 

It may not look like I do much for these matches, but some weeks its just a pain in the ass. I do it anyway cuz I told ppl I would...would like a little respect in return.

 

Don't grief my matches. The next time it happens, you will be banned from these matches and I will out you all over the events forum.

 

Sorry for sounding like an asshole, but kinda pissed me off, and wouldn't be a decent organizer of I didn't say something.

Warrior, Im sorry but some RL stuff comes out so I couldnt be there on time.

 

I see that I didnt missed much, maybe griefers were pilots double agents to distruct GT.

I think the 1st match went well, or at least the majority of it did, i got team killed in the first 2mins but that was just purely for the lulz so didnt really care about that...

 

And i managed to take out a heli with a rocket which i was happy about

 

And as for the dropping grenades blowing up teamates was a bit out of order half way through the match. but right at the end when it was all happening in hooters carpark it was just to waste the last 2mins as the air troops were away getting new heli's and wouldnt have been able to get back before the game ended!

 

2nd game was a nightmare, why was there 3 teams? and who chose 1 hour ?

i left as i cba with it. there was nothing but moaning about camping near the heli pads at the airport and people kicking off when they were getting killed.

I will be reorganizing these matches to include two matches; one on Saturdays for "Elite" players, players that have participated consistantly and know how these matches work - one on Sunday for NEW players and folks that just want to mess about a bit.

 

New players will be required to play a Sunday match before joining the Elite, Saturday match.

 

I have taken lung's criticism to heart...he is right. Doing a match where there are both players who want to take it seriously along with folks that either are just starting or just want to have a bit of fun is destined to have troubles. My fault completely.

 

I believe this will work better.

 

I will also be adding SIGs, Avatars and Badges for players to use if they like (GTs AND Pilots).

Most of them are also whiners and complainers. Plus, they are backstabbing liars who don't even like EACHOTHER!

 

Of course, the pilots I respect should OBVIOUSLY know I don't mean you, so no need to list names (though you can assume if we've played together more than just in these battles and exchanged messages/chatted, I probably like you).

 

 

BTW - I CAN play this Sunday, though I truly like the concept of different games for Vets and for newer players. I tend to screw around a lot more when it's a mixed bag and I have no idea how the others play.

 

Besides, if people insist upon griefing, there is a simple solution to that which I will gladly share via PM.
