Ground Forces vs. Airships

I think this event is really fun now. It isn't really about people needing to beat the pilots so much as a really good concept for a TDM!

 

Maybe this will be the thing to make me actually use my Dazzle. Or I could record the video with my cam but it isn't HD so the results wouldn't be really worthy. I'l really love some long distance shots of the heli's circling, some close in mayhem, so aerial shots and of course some Wagner

With this additional footage, I will finally be abler to put a vid together the way I want to.

Alright...i once again have to apologize to the ppl that couldnt get in...

 

Everyone has said that our matches lag WAY too much...this may be me.

 

I am getting my internet connection upgraded this week and would have actually har-wired my PS3 today, but the '50 Ethernet cable I had disappeared...so will do that this week as well.

 

Since I am the host, my guess is that its my connection that is the problem.

 

On a better note...got some AMAZING footage today! Very cool sh*t!!! May have to go into work on Sunday to play with it.

 

On a not-so brighter note...I know that these matches are something of a clusterf*ck, but as far as I am concerned, they are also fun as sh*t too.

 

This may never be the "big Event" that some were hoping for (me included) but i am going to continue to keep up with this thread...I think its worth it.

 

And to the new ppl that participated today...you all played well...and thanks for not causing any sh*t (except for PAIN_IN_DA_ASS...he is just...well..a pian in the ass...lmao...just kidding dude...I'll get you in nexst time for sure...just make sure you pick the right team {Air}).

 

Again, sorry I had to leave so early...but 'Real Life' comes first.

 

Hope we can do it again next week!

I love the clusterf*ck of it all. The lag, the thrill of getting one or two kills against the pilots, the huge amount of gunfire and explosions going on, the Wagner...it's ridiculous fun!

 

On a side note, winding up that McCracken guy in the lobbies was humor defined. I forgot to youtube the Benny Hill music, but I'll remember next time some somebody is trying to insult me by telling me how great they are at a video game

 

Pilots- kudos, again. Thanks for taking turns being on the ground forces, that was pretty cool.

Yes, a couple people were there and gone before the first 5 minutes of the first game.

 

Just send a message to somebody in the game, it wouldn't be too hard to have Chris rehost another room so everybody can get in.

 

I just want to see footage of where I shot the hell out of one of the pilots driving at me in a car, only to realize it wasn't a pilot, it was ChristopherD filming meaning I KILLED THE CAMERAMAN!!!!!!!!!

 

(cheapest kill in GTA 4 History, I might add)

I would just like to say thanks for letting me gatecrash on saturday, I got an invite off of easy.

I didn't have a clue what I was doing I just tried to follow the herd

I think I had it sussed in the 2nd one though, although I was as useful as a chocolate coffee pot.

Prob the most fun I have had outside of ddzn on gta.

 

@ jude admirable handling of mcracken, just to clarify it was not steve that was causing issues.

Maybe we can get you to stake out Heli locations so you can gettum before they take to the air.

I just checked out the footage from the last match and only got about 3 minutes as a ride-along with LIN93! f*cking tape ran out!

 

I am a total idiot sometimes!

 

The vid is coming along nicely (found a quality copy of Ride of the Valkerie... ), but really do need ride-along footage to finish it up.

 

One last stint as cameraman this weekend. Would like to get it in the first round so that I can actually play the rest of the time.

 

Can't wait til I get my new equipment at home...is hard to dodge coworkers and bosses to do it at work.
