vato
I'm using a machine with deep freeze installed, so everytime the machine is rebooted, its restored to its original set condition... so I need to alter where the save games are saved, I've already tried making a shortcut, and pointing it to another HD, but it won't take that... CameO73
The only way to do this would be to change the location of My Documents (since the savegames are stored in this folder). One warning though: don't change it to a root folder (e.g. E:\) but always to a subfolder (e.g. E:\Documents). Otherwise you're in a world of pain for about every game. CameO73
You're right ... it's the same for Windows XP (in C:\Documents and Settings\...) I only found this procedure that could help you. You have to know what you're doing, though! Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/386552-change-default-save-location/#findComment-1058796052 Share on other sites
