KradleshockH
I hate how you can easily die with hardly any chance of killing off or escaping the Sharks when they find you in their trucks and AK you. I have little or no chance to kill 'em all.
Vercetti27
VCS made too many missions which were obviously made for psp "boomshine blowout", "high wire" and I think "jive drive" even though I enjoyed that. Anyway I would have liked to have seen a diferent soryline with more characters differing itself from VC, like a story based around a cuban gang member. Overall tho there were loads of glitches and lots of odd annoying missions, where you had to get codes (the robot mission)

Mince
the annoying gang attacks *sigh*... I'm not trying to be rude, but WHY do you keep bumping so many topics? I could understand this one, but other times you bump small topics usually to say something that wasn't completely necessary and you clutter up the forums with all your bumps! I'm sorry for the off-topicness, but I think after 1,000 posts I can rant a little, can't I?

Upaluppa
Oh my... GTA SA GOD has managed to move the daily updated cheat development thread to the second page, just through his massive bumping of old topics. It's usually a good thing to see such an active member in the usually very quiet VCS forum, but please, don't overdo it mate ! I don't want to sound rude, but you shouldn't reply to every single topic you can find if there's no real need in reviving it, ok ?

Algonquin Assassin
Why would there be mountains in Vice City? Vice City is based on Miami, and the surrounding areas of Florida are mostly flat ground. I've never been to Florida in my life, and I know that. fawlty_towers
psp-version: - some vehicles are just ridicolously hard to control. how am I supposed to have fun with the freakin hovercraft while its hobbling like a guy with the parkinson's? or the quad bike which seems to have hell of a problem with driving left while on higher speed (it surely isnt my analogue stick, cars and bikes can be controlled normal)?? - cops can get you when your car got stuck or when it stands still. come on, its the same in IV but there you at least have a better chance to get away in the last second cause of better gameplay - the graphics is just pure sh*te, even for a psp-game - most of the missions just seem to repeat over and over again. ok, its the ninth (?) gta-game but rockstar has always had some nice ideas so far - sometimes its so ridicolously easy to die in a gang fight ...is the bulletproof-vest made of marshmallows? and what you got your "gang" for? - the lack of luxury "gps" like in IV - ok, the beeper isnt that bad but it could also help you to find the way to your targets without looking at the map a thousand times before arriving there - theres absolutely no way in defending yourself except shooting - you cant crouch, you cant lean towards walls and when youre running to avoid getting shot, your aim is totally screwed

Quadbikes are harder to control in real life at high speed as well, which is why you don't see too many on British roads, and have you ever tried to use the hovercraft in clear conditions? Also what a terrible analogy. Anyway Parkinson's doesn't make you wobble like that, just shake. In which case, you should probably hail that as a breakthrough in realism, rather than a most hated item. 2. I think that you are forgetting the fact that VCS was developed a few years before IV, with an older engine, and just small cosmetic changes like the ability to swim. It is the same in all of the other GTAs, except IV, but most people who play IV first or at the same time can't see the generation difference. Different eras = different police systems. 3. Pure sh*te as opposed to what? Games released the same year included FIFA06 and the Godfather. Don't try and tell me that they had better graphics, because they quite simply do not. Don't try and say that they are worse than newer games like Little Big Planet, as that would be like comparing GTA3 to Empire: Total War... They may as well be on different platforms. Please remember that if you are comparing it to IV, look at the difference in specs between a PS3 and a PSP. 4. Which of the missions repeat? I personally feel that VCS broke the mould a little for the GTA series, as it was the first game where you do missions for a celebrity, and it was the first to include a child (albeit only in cutscenes). Where you plucked that idea from I have no idea. 5. Well then plan out your attacks. In real life if you just walked into a group of machine gun wielding bad guys and shot at them indescriminately, you wouldn't last long at all, bulletproof vest or no bulletproof vest. Form a strategy, snipe them from distance. Then charge in with a gun when you are confident that you can handle the remaining sharks, bikers, whatever. And really mate, if you can't handle the sharks, you need a GTA crash course... 6. Have you played any other GTA except IV? It is like that in all of the others. It isn't hard buddy, just drive in the geneal direction of the blip and you are done. The GPS was only added for IV because people like you can't even get to the corner shop down the road without a satnav in real life and with the dawn of the, "IV era", they predicted that you lot would bring your ignorance to the game world and by the looks of things they were right. What is so hard about pressing a few times anyway? 7. Distance is your friend. Use it. Snipers and heavy weapons are best for shootouts with large numbers of people. Have you ever heard the popular sporting phrase, "Attack is the best form of defence"? It rings true here as well. Cheers, nernbag
Pooka Mustard
The mission "Unfriendly Competition"... Those f*cking women kills me before I do anything... I spent nearly 2 days doing the same mission... Basically, why a drug dealer says that women are his bodyguards ? Why does he give them strong weapons rather than those weak 9mm's ? He just have money and want to pop it.. Why just snipe them rather than bang them ? The s are like hell... No mountains or hills or countryside/desert.. No airstrip waiting for you... Just one airport.. The Biplane won't land on the streets to say "one airport"... And the missions are harder than those in SA.. No huge insane jumps like the one in Arco Del Oeste in the SA desert, to have fun with.. And Rockstar likes it, how ? I dunno..
Matty
The one thing I hate about this game, and probably one of the only things I hate about this game; is the fact that half the missions involved you being ambushed by some thugs when you had to make a getaway. Sure, it is fine every now and then, as it can add some excitement into the game. But it isn't good when you are ambushed/being chased by rivals in half the missions. Why not just ambush drug dealers with a minigun early ? Why not rob more than ambush ? And why not hang with someone better than a drug-ruined character named Lance ? In SA, you hanged around with Sweet and such, which they are better, while Vic kept hanging around with his idiot brother Lance... Why not you said "No coke, Lance" ? The drug dealer wants bodyguards who look inconspicuous, not massive f*ckers in black shirts and body armour. And the fact that there are so many shows the dealers disregard for human life, the fact that he views beautiful women as expenable only enforces that point. He gives them strong weapons because he wants protection, he wants it to be as difficult as possible to kill him as he is obviously a target. If you put yourself in his shoes what would you do? I am sorry but the very fact that you want to bang characters in a video game is incredible... Game too hard? Play the Sims instead mate. Seriously, if you want to have an easy time of it then use cheats. Rockstar are up against a wall with pricks like you to be honest, you want realism but not too much realism, toughness but not too tough. Can you land a plane in a street in real life? No. And San Andreas has three cities and covered a much much larger area than Vice City, therefore it needs a few more airports. Why have more than one airport if you only have one plane that can land on solid ground? As I said just a littlefurther up the page, just in case you forgot: Seriously, if you want to have an easy time of it then use cheats. Vice City has one airport, and the streets doesn't help to land a Biplane easily.. It destroys it, also the cars... But having more than one airport makes sense.. Not having one... In SA, three airports plus the abandoned airstrip where I always save If I'm in the desert (and the one who has an Everything-Proof Vortex from "Cut Throat Business", see System Error's Bulletproof cars FAQ, so special that he named himself System Error) was enough to make fun, but Escobar International only won't make fun at all... thought that one airport makes sense, huh ?
