JBFord4x4
The game is patched , but I do still have to update my drivers. No bugs from the patch so far aside from losing audio after running a benchmark. Restarting the game fixed it. LSD T
Average FPS: 40.35 Jesus, that would be a horrible ingame experience 15-25 FPS tops, man you're easily pleased. JBFord4x4
I'm not seeing 15-25 anywhere ingame. I don't get why everyone acts like the benchmark is such a lie. On my old PC, i had an "average fps - 18" in the benchmark, and that's where it ran most of the time in game with the fraps fps meter. This time, the game still runs 30+ everywhere. PharmacisT-
When will you guys finally notice that is not the graphic-card who makes much fps in the game ... its the processor ... a 8800gt and gtx 280 makes only a few fps in this game ... OC your processor for like only 100 mhz and you gain 4 fps ... reeven
If in benchmark you have 40fps, in game, especially on rain you have 17 fps. If you have 50 fps in bench, on rain you have 22 fps minim, much better. JBFord4x4
But I don't have 17 in rain . The entire game is making me more and more happy every second I play it. Definitly best game I have ever played. Enabling the "P" blur is a necesity, as is 100% traffic, and it isn't really necessary to have view distance any higher than 50. It's just an FPS hog more than anything. Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/386324-9800gtx-benchmark/#findComment-1058793718 Share on other sites

So the same results with different videocards doesnt mean the 2 cards are performing just as good... your talking about a benchmark testing your RIG and not only your videocard... so "High" : High Posted on Dec 21 2008, 21:01 Thank you for showing me i don't need to buy a 9800 GTX+. i get the exact same result on a 9600GT you think your 9600GT is just as good as a 9800 GTX+ ? think again bud. HOWEVER my processor is still not super old. maybe 1½ years? still amd 5600+ 2,8GHz dual core. still don't think its fair to have fps drop to 10-15 at some points. i bet if i played a game like crysis that would never happen.
