Thank you. /me bows to the creator(s) EDIT: haha makes me want to play the SP all over again and put MP aside for a bit. Also, check out how much better it makes graffiti! Everything looks better, always, imo. I'm a dm'er not a racer and I was afraid it would not be good for dming (as you need sharp aim) but it wont affect it at all. The DOF looks amazing on ground level (driving on the street, etc), but I've found it to be quite annoying when up in the air (helicopter). I suppose DOF only looks nice when you have a sharp image in the foreground to focus on... In the sky, everything is blurred (except your helicopter), it actually hurts my eyes a little bit. Subversion1337 Posted March 12, 2009 Share Posted March 12, 2009 Hmm its embarrassing to post this because I always jump the gun and get excited... but emm, after more testing the shadow tweak seems to remove very fine detail... and its true that trees look less lively with it.. oh well, its still an amazing mod, simply because it is SO MUCH better than the original blur. Still slightly dissapointed cos my first impressions were that I would use it all the time but the price of detail loss and tree deadening is too high to pay for me. After getting my butt handed to me from constant stuttering i came here and found this tweak. My hat goes off to the creator, simply amazing...... how the game is actually playable. After playing for a while with the mod, I periodically get a black screen and after 20 or so seconds the game returns... I think it has something to do with my display drivers. Again, I'm sorry if this has been already addressed in the previous 35 posts. And nice work! I absolutely love the mod! It's ironic that a consumer doesn't get paid a single cent for doing a job that a paid professional should be doing. EDIT: I noticed that the stuttering pretty much only when it's cloudy or when it's about to get cloudy. I also found some little "strips" that flicker on and off a lot. If there's any way of turning off depth of field completely, it would be the best. Any way that is possible (because there still is a little depth of field even with this tweak)? I heard about it... one guy had the same issue. But for me both mods worked good so I can't tell you what's wrong. My computer doesn't run the game very smoothly at high resolutions, but after i installed this tweak i can finally move on from that horrible 1024x758 res. Great work. It adds a lot to the game.
