I used the first one because it has all 3, I haven't really especially checked out the shadows, I mostly drove around because it's so much better now! Is there an way to edit your files so we can reduce the amount of motion blur? I realy dont like that much blur.. A little less would be perfect. I hope to get an reaction from you soon. uk_john Posted February 15, 2009 Share Posted February 15, 2009 I used Tweak 7 and wow - it makes the graphics look brilliant and I can see further and I have smooth speed now and the shadows are better too and the skyline looks suberb and everything! One thing it hasn't changed, and I still have a problem with, is the water. I have seen 360 water and seen the water in your '24 hours in Liberty City' and my water is nothing like it. No ripples, no textures, just flat and plastic grey with refelctions that wobble, making the water look like wobbly flat5 jelly! Changed the 'Performance' to 'Quality' and the water became what I have seen in video's - and it looks fantastic! I look here and it's crowded like never before My youtube video got hundreds of views every hour and I noticed 200% more downloads of my tweak. Hell yeah Little off topic: My ram is 2x1GB ddr2 GEIL 800mhz modules with CL4 latency, today I was in store and just thought that it might be a good idea to buy more ram. But there weren't any GEIL modules and any CL4 modules. So I bought 2GB Kingston ddr2 800mhz cl6 module. Yeah, now I have three modules and 4GB of total RAM but I wonder if it's not bad to mess around with modules from different manufacturers. And Isn't BIOS going to slow down my cl4 RAM to cl6 just to equate latency? Leave this ram inside or get rid of it? And your 24hour video is amazing. The first traffic light cross section scene, about 90 seconds in by the bustop, is almost photo-realistic!!!! thales100 Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 (edited) 29th page of this thread, on the bottom Well i think when you mix different speed and latencies, the mobo will use the lowest speed and the highest latencies for all the RAM sticks, but as uk_john said, its certainly better to have 4 Gb at a higher latency than 2 Gb of a lower latencies RAM. Damn that bugfest. Anyways, I've been doing what it says in the instructions. replace visualsettings.dat and replage rage_postfx.fxc in the shader folders. Still the same.
