Ultimate Graphics Tweak

Question

Ultimate Graphics Tweak

_____________________________________________________

Important:Test version of tweak compatible with patch 1.0.6.0 is available. Tell me how it works. Get it HERE

Presentation in HD

What is this?

__________________________________________________

Ultimate Graphics Tweak is a little modification which allow you to enable improved post processing effects like Motion Blur and Depth Of Field.

It also smoothens dotted shadows and jaggy edges while keeping whole game sharp and clean. As a result game feels like a movie, and is

visibly smoother even at low frame rates (15-25FPS).

NOTE: To improve your gaming experience even more I recommend GTA4 Enviroment mod by kriller2 as a great addition to this tweak.

You have a choice

__________________________________________________

To satisfy all of you I divided Ultimate Graphics Tweak into all possible combinations of particular effects so you can enjoy only those

you really like. Just look at the table below and decide which tweak suits you best. If you want to check more than one option just install one

of those tweaks and then overwrite files from another one, it's safe.

Wow, Thanks for the tweak!

By far this is the only trick/tips that works for my pc sad.gif

I usually got 13-20 fps at daylight and 13-25 at night.

And this tweak made my game looks ALOT better (for me atleast).

It doesnt increase or decrease my fps, but it made my game look better.

Driving at high speed become very exciting, oh and it doest work when you aim your gun.

Thanks ALOT!!! biggrin.gif

it doest work when you aim your gun.

Is it good that it doesn't work when aiming? I can fix that so you will have nice effect while aiming.

I think it was the right decision to keep mb at bay while aiming.

/imo

but yeah, I can never go back to driving any other way.

It really does just add an extra layer of excitement.

well done.

NO, It is a good thing. Cant even imagine how im gonna aim my gun with that effect, it'll make aiming very uncomfortable and difficult bcause of the blur.

after all this positive feedback i decided to try this little motion blur tweak and i gotta say, i'm pretty surprised people like it so much. no offense to the creator, i guess it's better than the original, but still, it removes all the detail in the game. and the blur is way too heavy when rotating the camera or driving i think. it's comparable to when you're very drunk in real life. if they used this effect plus some minor camera movements it would be a pretty good drunk effect instead of the terrible one they have now.

and don't get me wrong. i get 10-20 fps on avarage so i should be someone who enjoys a tweak like this. but yeah, if you're one of those guys that prefer the gta pc versions instead of the console versions for the graphics, this tweak is a big big downgrade. all the detail that makes gta iv nice graphically pretty much disappears.

I like it, but I think it needs to be worked on a bit more, I like it alot and I dislike it.. I think how it makes little details a bit too blurry annoys me, like signs..

I dunno how it would be improved though, maybe even less blur but it stil lthere or something?

Hi,is it possible to remove the blur from the objects ,but not the motion blur on foot and in the car, so it would look like the situation without pressing P,but with motion blur?If so ill send you my email and you could send me the file.

There is no option to turn off blur on near objects and leave motion blur. I have already set all "static blur" values to zero and depth of field to zero too but this ugly blur on objects still exists . I still try to find out how to turn it off but I'm worried that it's something with engine and its poor post processing capabilities.

bartekxyz, can you give the upload link to the file you gave to NightmareGK13? I agree that the motion blur is a little overkill on foot. THanks.

It's not the same. With original settings there is no on foot blur, blur in car activates only on very big speeds and there is ugly depth of field effect. In my settings there is motion blur on foot, in car at any speed and DOF is lowered to minimum. And it just looks better

Better than Normal Detail Remover.

But it still needs a touch of Sharpness
