Presentation in HD

What is this?

__________________________________________________

Ultimate Graphics Tweak is a little modification which allow you to enable improved post processing effects like Motion Blur and Depth Of Field.

It also smoothens dotted shadows and jaggy edges while keeping whole game sharp and clean. As a result game feels like a movie, and is

visibly smoother even at low frame rates (15-25FPS).

NOTE: To improve your gaming experience even more I recommend GTA4 Enviroment mod by kriller2 as a great addition to this tweak.

You have a choice

__________________________________________________

To satisfy all of you I divided Ultimate Graphics Tweak into all possible combinations of particular effects so you can enjoy only those

you really like. Just look at the table below and decide which tweak suits you best. If you want to check more than one option just install one

of those tweaks and then overwrite files from another one, it's safe.

Trying it out now. I'll let you know the results in a bit.

EDIT

I just tried it and yes it is better than the usual blurring that Rockstar initially configured for GTAIV, but I do have a gripe about it. For one it really isn't an end all to the the fps problem since it is actually more graphic intensive than the original. I say this because I usually get around a 17-25 fps with no dips at all under that specified. Yet with this config it seems to drop into the single digits a few times during play.

Although don't get me wrong, It's actually a lot better since I can actually see what's 10 feet in front of me now, which it great, ha. Plus at times it does seem a bit smoother, but those dips still get me so I'd say the lower end players should probably wait for a more optimized patch from rockstar or a reworked version of this.

Good job though. I really do think it owns the original one... That old one made me sick with it on. Mostly since everything was big blur..

Movies are recorded at 24fps and looks extrasmooth because of motion blur so I made the same magic with GTA. Now I must find out how to activate frame limiter, better have constant, fluid 25 fps supported with motion blur than choppy variable framerate

i don't get it. motion blur, depth of field and bloom are three totally different things and to be honest: gta4 has only a bloom filter for the cut scenes.

anyway: judging by the sheer amount of problems related to this "magical" tool i would think twice before making the decision.

Does this "hack" also solves the problem with "p" on, that close objects are blured way too much?

gta4 has only a bloom filter

i think nope. watch crysis for getting a clue what motion blur or depth of field could "theoretical" mean, not this stupid 2003 bloom effect.

True,Crysis has really great post-process algorithms, motion blur and depth of field there looks ultra realistic and movie-like. I wish to see the same rendering quality in GTA
