Weird Benchmark Behaviour

Hello, at first when i installed, it worked just fine. (that was pre-patch 1.0.1.0)

 

Then a few days before the patch was release, when i did either -benchmark or entered benchmark from graphics settings, it started a new game, it even said so instead of saying loading benchmark. And after the new game was started i was able to see me standing on the pier for 1 sec, then it finished it as if the benchmark was over.

 

Then after patch, it just crashed, instead of the new game thing.

 

It dosent really bother me that much, but i decided to share it here anyway, maybe someone knows what i'm doing wrong.

 

i doubt this is a hardware issue ^^ especially since it worked before, and i tested it with multiple drivers also, without luck.

 

Problem is i play on steam, so it takes me 4-5+ hours to re-download hehe.

 

And ofcause i refuse to loose my savegame
