I mean use a bit of common sense. IV came out, and CTW is coming out. It's obvious R* want to move forward instead of living in the past. If there is another PSP GTA I don't reckon it'll be tied to the GTA III era, and the PS2 is slowly dieing, so it would be a waste of time. Besides what would SAS add? There's really nothing it could, because SA was such a progressive game for its time. Not to mention I don't think I could go back to the old style, and that's really the only way SAS would work. I mean, LCS was a step back. Advance was a step back. Chinatown Wars is a step back. And no matter what the graphics look like, the license is enough to make it sell like hotcakes. Hell, I know I'll enjoy it. Because Rockstar knows how to make good f*cking games. As for San Andreas Stories, it'd be a step back from GTA4 in terms of both graphics and story (not to say the story will be any less good, just that it's a step back to the 3 canon) but what better way to totally wrap up the old story than by going back to it one last time, with the mindset of "this is it - ain't gonna go back to the old story anymore - might as well give the old story, old characters, old names, faces and places the treatment they deserve with a sendoff that can only be described as epic." I mean you don't get to find out what happens to Brian, but there's alot of backstory to SA. Anyway I still reckon the only purpose of LCS, and VCS was to bring GTA to the PSP market, and give players something to do until GTA IV came out. Wouldn't it have been logical to release SAS after VCS, and before GTA IV? It does feel like there's a piece of the puzzle missing from the GTA III series, but if it was going to happen it most likely would've happened before IV came out. And i dont think R* will spend so much time on a PS2 version of SAS version either as there just isnt all that money left if they decided to do so. The stories were special because they aloud you to play a GTA game on the go.
