Stuck after menu screen

Hello,

I bought this game a few days ago, installed it and had all the problems that most people have been having.

 

The one thing that has been pissing the hell out of me and also making me start to hate this game is that g damn screen after the menu screen (the one after you log into windows live).

When I get to this sh*tty screen the character art switches from one character to the next with that annoying music (its annoying becuase I usually hear it loop about ten times before a close the game), sometimes I'm lucky and then my game actually loads and its all good but most of the time it just keeps looping.

 

Anyone had this same problem? know how to fix it?

 

I've got the game running before and been playing it so I have no idea why it just wont load sometimes.

 

Im thinking that that screen is a loading screen of some sort but it doesn't say 'loading' and there is no loading bar or anything so I have no idea what the g damn program is doing while I let it loop for 10 min.

 

I have a core2duo 2.8 ghz, 2gb ram and gforce 7950gt so its not my hardware.

Mine is doing the exact same thing!, hasnt happened until now and I have had it since the release date.

 

I havnt played it in a couple of days and it was loading fine before now, now it just keeps going throught the character art and loops the music a few times until no more music plays and the character art keeps on changing and it never actually loads.

Welcome to the club, and believe me, you're not alone.

 

I have the same problem too and many others. Sometimes the game crash on a black screensometimes it crash on desktop after these photos.

 

It's a bug in the program. I never managed to run it. Either it's a memory leak, or a conflict with other files. Some there are lucky and sometimes bypass the bug and can play the game, other like me not so lucky, and every time I try to load it, it crash.

 

Had one from Rockstar answered in one of my threads,

actually he jist asked where exactly blacki screen occured, that was about fives days ago, from then nothung.

 

And you can't do much on this. Let's hope the fix these bags.
