Cause my English is not that good it's not so easy for me to follow tounge.gif

 

I opend (with previous version) the gtxd.img file with Spark IV, and exported the BMP files... Am I able to import that in some way again to the gtxd.img file with the 0.5 version? blush.gif

jessy-maus, you don't need to post ALL THE TIME asking for help...

If you take the time to read the very first post of this topic, you will see what the actual version (0.5) of SparkIV is able to do and what it cannot do right now.

 

Actually, you can EXPORT textures, but NOT IMPORT

 

It doesn't mean you will never be able to import your textures, you just have to wait for a next release, including this abillity.

Check the very first post of this topic for the news and, please, be patient !!

Probably need to give some time for this. It is possible and they are able to played in Audacity using RAW filters that come with that program, but I am not sure of the procedure, sorry.

I have a small problem (altough I don't know is it a problem). I am only able to open files at Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\models AND \textures. I can't open any other files, in \data for example. When I try to open them I get an error message saying: ''Access to the path [location of the file] is denied''. Can anyone help me with this problem, or do all users have the same problem? And is there any way to open .wft files used in vehice models?

Where are the various character images shown next to the Social Club news on the main game screen shown? (you know, the screen with "Start, Options, Quit" and such on the bottom). I can find the offline version of that screen in the pc/textures folder, but all of those show Niko on the side.

 

Still when I use resoursaur I get this annoying message:

 

"The segment size must be a multiple of 4096 bytes"

It's not possible to import bmp files into the img archive...

Not actually, I prefer sparkIV's simplicity, just needing a external WTD editor and scripts for the models and i'm fine.

 

I hope you keep working on this (Or well, in any other IV-tool) Aru smile.gif

 

@Prince-link: Maybe a problem with the materials, happesn with all the models in the model viewer...

You know, these guys put a LOT of work into these tools, and there's really no reason to make the kind of statements that I see above. Just be happy that they have given their time and effort into letting everyone mod the game.

 

There's room for more than ONE tool around here. Try to be a little more mature about it, ok?

You people need to show some more respect for tool creators. It's not like you could do better! People are building this from ground up and look what they made possible in just 3 weeks since the game release. If you want better tools. Give him some suggestions for his tool or try to help crack the file formats! It's not as easy as you think.
