Thanks for this tool, it's really awesome.

I'm having trouble finding some of the new radio station RPF files in EFLC, namely Beat 102 and Vladi. They don't seem to be in the same folder with all the others. Can anyone help? Thanks.

EDIT: Never mind, found them, they're in a different folder stored inside the giant EP2_SFX.rpf and EP1_SFX files

When decompiling the script files, function names are not shown, only hashes. Would be great if it could be fixed

In case it hasnt been said already. If it has been said, just ignore me.

Using 6.5 to access steam versions.

1. I get asked for the GTA directory every time I start Spark.

2. I cant open the .whm that come with EFLC.

We def need a twin path option now, for both GTA dir and EFLC dir.

OR.. simply copy the exe (GTAIV.exe or EFLC.exe depending on te version) in the same directory as spark.

Any chance we get fix for native-calls in scripts? R* changed names or hasher, or both?

oinkoink fixed it and told me last week he'd send the code my way. Waiting on him.

Use the EFLC version. http://gzwn.net/Documents/SparkIV%20EFLC%200.6.5.rar

For those people who wanted to help out, I'll be splitting a big list of audio names this weekend that need to be cleaned up. All you'll need is a text editor, time and some familiarity with the audio names/naming structure from GTAIV. tounge.gif

Can't start SparkIV, having EFLC version, no IV. When I start the program - it just gets me an error of "Not Responding" and sh*t.

I have a small question, don't know if its possible.

I was trying to give the M_Y_pmedic some pedprops, like some hat or something.

So I opened the pedprops.img file and extracted a other peds props to rename them and reinport them as props for the medic. But the medic dossen't have any .wdd and .wtd files in the pedprops.img file. So I thought I was able to import them without overwriting something. But it seems SparkIV can only overwrite files and not make new entry.

Is it possible that a future version of spark can make new entry's in img files? It can open new possibility's I think. Like adding new stuff instead of overwriting. Or most I work with a other program? To really edit the img files.

My plan was

- Extract m_y_thief_p.wdd and m_y_thief_p.wtd

- Rename the m_y-thief_p files to m_y_pmedic_p.

- Make a new entry for the m_y_pmedic_p files in the pedprops.img file

- Edit the peds.ide file and replace the 'null' with m_y_pmedic_p to let the game know where to find the props for that ped.

Now, if its not possible, its no problem...

I was just playing around with some stuff and trying out some things.

Thx a lot. For the meantime I made workaround for myself with providing the right hashes in the nativeslist.txt and changed the procedure to read em from the file.

You can do that with OpenIV. But be sure to backup the archive as OpenIV often screws the files.

For some reason after I reinstalled GTA IV, Opening Spark IV Gives me a "Spark IV has stopped working" thing and won't do anything.

Anyone know what's wrong?

Thanks for the tool, it's really useful and makes much more fun for GTA4.

But i have some problem when I move on to the EFLC, I keep getting the following error message

"Your GTAIV.exe seems to be modified or is a newer version than this tool supports. If it is a newer version, pleas check for an update of SparkIV. SparkIV cannot run without a supported GTAIV.exe file"

My EFLC ver. is v1.1.1.0, and I've tried few versions of SparkIV, but stilling getting the same error, I've tried both "SparkIV EFLC 0.6.5.rar" & "SparkIV_0.6.5.zip", and also the one for DLCs. The "SparkIV_0.6.5.zip" just opens my GTA4 stuffs, not the EFLC.

My GTA4 and EFLC are both DVD retail ver, and they are installed in the same drive, but different directory. but it's shouldn't cause problem like this, right? Then what I've done wrong sad.gif

Sorry for my poor English. tounge.gif

--------------------------------------------

Never mind, problem fixed, and i don't even know how i fixed it...lol It's just works fine when I woke up this morning... so weird....

You have to use the EFLC version. It is the link right under the first one in my post.

Oops. I thought I had that message changed. Mind sending me your EFLC exe?

And again can't export multichannel WAV files in EFLC.

No where did I say you could in this version, I haven't had the time lately to work on the list of audio names, it's coming though. Come to think of it, there are actually some audio files from EFLC that can be multichannel exported now because this version has an early version of my EFLC list.

Updated SparkIV to 0.6.7. Changes include:

-An initial sound name list for TLAD and TBOGT (Thanks to DerPlaya78! It doesn't have all the names but it does have most of them. I'll complete it when I get some time or if DerPlaya78 wants to do more.)

-Fixed references to GTAIV.exe in the EFLC version

-Support for the Japan version of Patch 7

-Support for the retail disc version of EFLC

SparkIV 0.6.7 for GTAIV

SparkIV 0.6.7 for EFLC

EDIT: I started working on SparkIV today. I've got most of the missing names for the EP2_SFX RPF and I've changed the "Updated or Modified GTAIV.exe" message to take you to the Google Code page to get the newest version.
