I use Windows XP Home Edition, because my dad and brother would probably sh*t a brick at the sight of Vista or OSX. Shame, I've always wanted a Mac for some reason. I'm happy though, it does what it's meant to and it runs bloody well.

I use Windows XP. Only because when I had the option of choosing OS's at the time Vista had just come out and a little buggy from what I had heard/read. So I stuck to my XP knowing I'd be happier with it. But next time a new PC is needed I'll be going with Vista.

Windows Vista HP SP1 x64 on the desktop, because I like my games.

Ubuntu 8.10 on the laptop, because I can't stand Windows.

Windows XP on the mini laptop, because it arrived today and my Ubuntu Live USB doesn't want to work for some reason.

Windows XP Professional SP3 32-bit. Original, legal. The CD looks really cool.

My laptop also has Windows XP Pro. I have an older laptop as well, which has Windows 98. And another one with Windows 3.1.

I've made my XP look like Windows ME or 2000 (aren't they the same thing anyway?). Takes less resources, looks better in my opinion. I wish I had space for Ubuntu. Want to practice using Linux-type OSes.

Oh yeah, the Windows Classic theme, the one that looks like Windows 95. First thing I enable. Can't stand Aero, and the only thing I think is uglier is the blue XP theme..

I Run a variety of different OS's here:

Windows Vista Home Premium x64 - Gaming/Visual Basic Express 2008 use (Need it for school).

Windows XP - On my older computers.

Linux (Slackware) On my main computer which I use when not in Vista.

Linux (OpenSUSE) On some of my other computers, I like OpenSUSE very polished and professional.

Or, you could have the worst of both worlds, Fisher Price theme and the compatibility issues of Vista. I use Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit:

I was really lucky to get a 1600x1050 Bliss wallpaper. It's very rare.

On one spare machine I dual-boot XP and 98, and on another I run XP, but might upgrade it to Vista. My Dad and brother run XP Pro too.

Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit SP1

Reason: I recently upgraded my PC so that it can handle Vista and all my games. Besides, I'm more than satisfied with the performance of Vista Ultimate so far. I don't intend on going back to XP any time soon.

I know what you mean, Aero is a bigger hog than this:

I use the 'Basic' theme.

I use Vista Home Premium SP1 for my main computer. Mainly because it runs all the new programs well and it was the only one available when I got it. I tried to put XP on it, but I have SATA harddrives and had problems making my own disc. I eventually got Xp working but it was full of errors, so I went back to Vista.

For my laptop I use XP SP3 because it came with Windows XP SP2, and it isn't good enough for Vista.

On my old pc I use Windows 2000 and Ubuntu 8.40. It is a great pc and can run vista, just without the Aero themes.

My PDA runs on Windows Pocket PC 2003 because it came with it and I can't change it!

Slackware on desktop (Switzerland) and personal server (Venezuela).

Ubuntu on old laptop (New Zealand), new laptop (Australia) and PS3 (Russia)

And NetBSD on our group's server (Rivendell).

That's the way I roll, bitches. I need to upgrade Slackware soon, though.

XP Sp2. SP3 is out?

Also, my IBM PS/2s are running DOS. (sure, the l40sx has win 3.1, but that's a program and not a OS.)

I use both Vista Ultimate and XP Home SP3 on a dual-boot system but I use Vista for majority of stuff. XP is just my gaming OS, for some reason games don't work on Vista and give me BSOD's.

OS X Leopard 10.5.5

I dual booted XP for a while to play games, but I wanted my HDD space back and I have my 360 for gaming. I also used Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu on my old laptop before it crapped out on me. I don't like Windows.

At the moment, I normally use Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3. I also have Windows Vista Ultimate and Mandriva Linux One 2009, triple-booted.

On Vista Ultimate? That's strange. My Vista Ultimate plays all my previous games and new ones without any problems. In fact, I have heard that the Home edition is more prone to CTD's and BSOD's than Ultimate.

Grand Theft Auto Dude

I use Ubuntu 8.10 for web surfing and graphics, because it boots up fast on my old machine, it's heavily customizable, and safe.

Well, I have both Windows XP SP2(too lazy to update to SP3), and Windows Vista Ultimate SP1. They both do their jobs well, I only use Vista if I'm just gonna use MSN and internet and because it boots up faster, and I use XP mostly for games.

I wouldn't really accept the fact that the home editions f*ck up games.i use Home premium on both my PCs. infact,

Windows Vista Home Premium 64 Bit-SP1--- on my Gaming Desktop

Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit-without SP1(too lazyyy)--on my laptop..

i use vistaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa coz it rocksssssssssssssss

BTW,WHAT'S BSOD and CTDs?

Kubuntu Linux 8.10 because Linux is free and I love GNU, ubuntu because I like Debian and really like *ubuntu's automation of it, and Kubuntu because I like KDE more than GNOME.

I don't really have anything against Windows expect that it's not free.
