GTA IV MOD CHECKLIST

This is the unofficial GTA IV's modding goals. If I forgot to add a goal, please post them in the same format as below.

 

 

[DONE] Render cops/fbi/swat useless. (disable them)

[DONE] Create a new weapon from unused weapon templates.

[DONE] Change the handling of vehicles.

[DONE] Change the colors of vehicles.

[DONE] Switch cop models out for other citizen models.

 

[NOPE] Disable fall damage.

[NOPE] Create tools to allow the modding of maps.

[NOPE] Unlock the whole city from the start.

[NOPE] Disable free-cam limits.

[NOPE] Create tools to allow the editing of textures.

[NOPE] Create tools to allow the editing of models.

It is a quick and easy way to check if a mod is done or not. I hear people asking, "Has anyone figured out how to" questions all the time.

 

It also makes a nice "wish" list or a way to know what mods are in demand. Take the "remove cam restrictions on video editor" idea for instance. I never would have thought about it but since it was mentioned I am motivated to start looking for ways to do it.

The jetpack's too specific, you should start global, not like create a texture to place at that exact place in the game or something.
