So ,Can Be The Knive Acts Like A bullet?

It Cannot Only Push Ppl But Add some Damage Like Bullet

I found The mass and Weight In Object.dat ,i don't Know If it Right or not

Well heck, edit it to do so & see if it does ace ..

 

I jus tried puttin a cop in the gun, lol he fires out of it too BUT you can't see him, you jus see his blood spatter on somethin, you can see that his body impacts ppl or objects but jus cant see his body yet ...

It likely You To much add physic force in the projectile or weapon range on the weapon

,This can Add some Strengh To the Projectile To push

,But it seems Your Projectile Are Too Fast That Can Push Someone Into The Space

 

I Already Tried To Change The object .dat But it Seems Nothing Chance After All

If Anyone Tried That And Got A success Please tell "We" how to do it

I found a value for GunshotFired in the ShockingEvents.dat file, now I just need help finding where exactly this is mentioned in the weapon files, so I can change it for each separate weapon.

The xml file doesn't mention that.

 

Theoretically I would then just be able to switch the gunshot to something that isn't a gunshot and isn't threatening unless watched, such as SeenMeleeAction and that would effectively make the weapon suppressed.

Anyone know where I might want to look for that one?

lessthan - There are some behaviors you can see in pedpersonality, arent so much worded like that but generally it lists what individual peds/cops do, like "murderattack" so they see a murder they attack you or whoever did it. "murdercallpolice", "watchfight" etc ..

 

I was thinkin of a way to alter the values in shockingevents so that w/ each event you can decide what ppl react to or dont or how they react.. The fuzzy thing is, alotta the things in the file pretty much anyone can react to by running away like gunshot, helioverhead, seencarstolen, gunfight, explosion, I mean all of those I've seen peds run away..

 

Some (as defined in ped personality I guess) will do something different, ram into you or your car w/ theirs, fight you, shoot you etc .. I can say this, I did manage a few weeks ago to get the cops to kinda runaway so they dont chase or shoot me but I've edited quite abita stuff I'm not 100% on ATM.

 

I wish they woulda put more details in SHevents, cuz I can only speculate what H W G A F stands for.. I wonder if for now the "watch times" can be set high to generally make ppl stand and watch, then again, I wondered if that leaves random ppl cuz the others in the pedpersonality will run away regardless. hmm..

Thanks for posting the whole rocket pistol code, with this, I shall add it to my MP5 and the cops wont be able to touch me.

Reason I wanted it for the deagle, is because cops don't use deagles tounge.gif

ace- I dint realize, I thought you found somethin diff.. I only found I think "knifecur" in object.dat but that dint seem to affect it so unless someone knows where to find the weapon-knife properties..

 

As for the force, its not that, I'm simply not able to implement the "skin" for lacka better word..

I can alter certain values where the cop shoots out like a "bullet" fast/far or where the body just practically falls outta the gun, I can hear when I fire, the body plop on the ground beside me...

 

Otherwise I can shoot it into somethin, see blood spats & hear it fall or whaever and ofcoruse it then explodes.. You can also see people get knocked down, cars move etc when he is fired into them, I've just not figured out how to make the body visible yet ..

 

 

Serion, its cool havin you here, I really liked your MP5, its the funniest watchin ppl shoot off like rockets & such, lol Only thing I've seen is sometimes doesnt want to fire from inside the car..

Yea so why not put the rocket into the Deagle and keep your MP5 as it is ? THe code I posted was using the DEAGLE! Heck put a rocket into the AK47, thats where I had put Res's rocket w/ "ship_destroy" explosion, after someone suggested it. That explosion is HUGE, largest of all, but it does require abit more work to create that one. I then tried others like HI_OCTANE I think .. somewhat smaller explosions..

i got something,if you use sniper rifle and change the timebeetwenshot,it can be faster than uzi ,m4 ,mp5.

It Just some Tweaking When I killed by another enemies weapon that i tweaked, so i choose sniper and delete the first person flag,it just like m4 but faster and better.

Btw How to Use The Sniper While I'm Walking?

How would you successfully edit the pistol to shoot rockets like in Opium_addicts videos on youtube? I always end up with some weird results. Can somebody write me the code?

McWaffle, check back to Resignators post, he posted the code for the pistol rocket, page (5) 6th post, down ... Be warned when you do this using the pistol, you know that any ped w/ the handgun or cop will have the same ability as you ... Your other option is to use the Deagle its the handgun in the Weapons Tier 1, its unique to you . I am not sure if later in the game during certain missions a drug dealer or someone might have it.. I've only been doin some modding not so much playing missions ..

Ace...action_table.csv looks like it contains hit reaction animations for Niko and the AI. You can use it to do things like make the AI react like they are getting cut by a knife when Niko is kicking them.

 

Costar...I remember you talking about your cop bullet. I dont have time to check atm but my big guess is you have added impact data to the weapon and not the cop model to the projectile. If that isnt the case, then I bet projectiles and thrown weapons have to have an entry in another file somewhere to define their flight characteristics and such. Perhaps, objects.dat holds the key. You could add your cop model there and define it to test.

I didnt see any projectiles such as bullets being defined in there. If they were you would be able to make people act like they are being hit by a knife when they are shot. It has nothing to do with making the bullet model a knife one if that is what you are getting at....it only alters the reaction.

 

That file looks like it also contains attack move data. So you could change Niko's normal punch to a kick, etc.

Didnt see any projectile impact reaction types in there. Also, after looking at it for the third time I think it only contains Niko's reactions, moves, attacks, etc. There is no ped data in there at all. Will check it again later when I am not so tired tounge.gif

And How To change all Car into A taxi(All Car Can Be A Taxi Like)

Crackhead just means I post here very often.

 

Making all cars able to taxi wont be easy. First, you are going to have to figure out how to get the taxi dash in every car or at least provide a way to select different waypoints.

As this thread is about weapons editing primarily, I'd just like to point out my thread on playing with fire. I've successfully created incendiary bullets - any bullet can be made incendiary, but it gets ridiculous so the sample I posted only alters the deagle. Its admittedly more fun doing drivebys with the MP5, though...

 

Download and extract to your base GTAIV directory (where the exe is).

 

In case of problems, there is only one file : bloodfx.dat

 

This file goes in \Grand Theft Auto IV\common\data\effects

I had put the cop model in the projectile section I think it was &/ or at the asset section .. It still dint make the body appear, I can't be sure how reliable it was as I kept changing things so much to get the body to appear and I was having lockups so.. I think in that one version it was proly reliable where you could jus see the blood splats and ppl get knocked down, cars move upon impact etc..

 

Thats still kinda bad cuz as you can imagine, it'd be like throwing invisible grenades around, not sure exactly where they're at .. I even tried "create_ordnance" anything to get the body to be visible but no luck .. I wish we could more easily use objects as projectiles, make laser weapons just cool things. Frankly I wish we could destroy more of the environment, they atleast added better damage to vehicles/glass and even damage/cracks to impacted objects but still lacking..

 

 

 

Stone D, the human torch lol I'm guessin that is only temporary according to a "weapon" you have selected, otherwise I spose gettin in a car would pose a definite health hazard, as would an attempt to be intimate w/ your date LOL .. It all sounds pretty cool, so I'm guessin you basically made them using properties of molotovs ?! The weapon in the vid is the same as SWAT has tho isnt it ? I'll have to try the bullets when I have time.
