manipulation0x Posted December 13, 2008 Share Posted December 13, 2008 installed the patch and niko is constantly staring at the sky now the game is unplayable I have the same f*cking problem. I hate this sh*t. They just made it worse. As soon as I load the game the camera just instantly rolls up to the ceiling. Is anyone else getting this problem? ArkangelJosh Posted December 13, 2008 Author Share Posted December 13, 2008 the emulation would explain many of the rushed signs we have been seeing, rather than just creating it for pc and porting to console, they made it for console and ported it to a PC not the most logical move. tbh. seems if you patch you take a risk of having some new bugs but faster loading times. hope rockstar get on the issue soon. though doubtful. www_zeeshan_de Posted December 13, 2008 Share Posted December 13, 2008 now my niko can be controlled by my direct input gamepad with my left joystick, with my right joystick i can turn the camera left and right, but i cannot turn up or down, so the camera is always at the bottom, when i move mouse up the cam goes up, but then it goes down again, in the options settings i can activate invert R axes, but then it is always looking nik from the top to his head where can i change the key binding of the right axes of my joystick ?? Too bad I still need to login in order to save... I just got the game a couple hours ago BTW. Fairly disappointed at a botched job. It could be a replacement one that works better. I'd prefer it if Rockstar would at least confirm or deny the game is being emulated. Well that would bring a major risk for MS, if anyone would crack that emulator, they can have a lot of inspections on how an Xbox works. Except that this is most likely the PS3 version with GFWL super-glued on: the 360 forces all games to have 2x AA(with HDR, even though the 360 applet is based on DX9, blows the devs dodgy reasoning for not having AA away). If this is an emulated PS3 version, then it is simply never going to have AA in any form except a post-proccess blur, like we have in GTA IV. Games are developed on PCs or specialist work-stations, based on PCs. The earliest testing of code has to be done on PCs; all games in their way are playable on PCs. The translation into console apps doesn't change much. But what we have is a translation of a translation, not a clarification of the original form of the game as it was made on PC. All medium, sliders on 20, res 1680x1050, found new dead zone where fps drops to 14-15 just one so far. gonna play with settings and see. Thanks R* for patch.
