TruXter Posted December 13, 2008 Share Posted December 13, 2008 Ok I notice an issue with patch when I go to microsoft control panel. it will not open. it shows top bar and button, I go to minimize it, it shuts on me. might not be a patch issue.. but I was just there walking someone through on how to tweak their stuff... but I was not changing anything on mine. Please, everyone, go check. might be something I did.. and yeah um trolls. we know wich one of you will be right there to cry wolf... so stfu. I will not read your text. I wouldn't expect it to run faster if its playing very slow for you, there doesn't seem to be any optimizations besides a potential memory fix. Don't expect much to change. It reset all my video settings to low except resolution which was left intact. You might have to reconfigure your video settings. There are no new video options inside the game. I still can't map my mouse 4th and 5th button. Has anyone been able to map them? The game has never crashed for me since I bought it so I can't say if it fixes the crashing issues some are experiencing. The game seems a little bit smoother (I would say I gained about 3-5 frames) ... it's not a huge improvements (Pre-patch the game ran pretty good for me. It wasn't 60fps, but it was definitely playable ... and I'm very picky with performance. Hope they keep optimizing the game though). My specs ...
