Nah it's weird about the version number.

I can confirm that it is infact a different driver, maybe Guru3D is poking around?

I can also confirm that Anti-Aliasing DOES NOT WORK.

You can force AA with these ones now

How can I download these drivers?? I can't download them from Guru3d because it says "Forbidden" and I don't have access to the server.

I'm pretty sure this is jsut guru3d being retarded, i think the only change from the 1st .84 is that this has multiple languages included.

This is messed up. The file size is the same as the 2nd updated driver. I'll only download once Nvidia's site announces it.

There's already a topic about this

The only difference seems to be SLI I think, I can't really follow the other thread. dontgetit.gif

Ow and these drivers are now on the Nvidia site, not just on nZone.

No word about GTA4 in the changelog, but again this "Blazing fast performance" upgrade for other games, which is old news.

I hope this one REALLY works...

I've tried the previous 2 betas and they did nothing. Still have all those missing textures.

And I don't want to try that cacheboost thingy... a game is supposed to run effectively without "third party" influence.

Screw that.

Downloadding them now.

IT WORKS!!!

I have 50% boost with this new beta, compered with the other two. From 19-20fps (on benchmark), now I get 30!!! Its much smoother and playble now. biggrin.gif

Please state if you are talking about this specific revision or just about .84 in particular.

DO NOT INSTALL THESE DRIVERS (beta 3), the game starts fine indoors but crashes ever time I go outside, never happened before..

I'm starting to fall in love with Nvidia though. Guys are really sticking up for their users.

It's because their logo is on gta iv cd package

did update to this from beta 2, and played 1 hour, no lag, no missing texture, and that i could not before with beta 1 and 2. weird this. hmmmmm.

but seems allot more smooth and playable than before.

Just installed the Beta 3 drivers, and they indeed improve FPS a bit. Unfortunately, the memory leak still occurs after 15 or 20 minutes of playing.

But hey, this is a step forward, at least some progress after a weeks wait.

/

However, its a crime that R* hasnt released a patch yet. I'm starting to dislike them.

how come that the drivers from the nZONE page is 73mb while the "new" beta is 102mb?

One might be international w/ additional language packs.

So can this be 100 percent confirmed its new but under same revision, both here and 3d guru has alot of talk about it but nothing I can see thats concrete?

Anyone like to step up and show / explain if this is worthy installing from the original 180.84 (not the sli beta2)?

Of course the benchmark is BS so I still get ~20FPS while actually playing the game so...zero change, Again I say back to Crysis where I get good frame rates at decent settings/resolutions
