Escuela of the streets PROBLEM

err i got MW2 for ps3 and there was a mission were you had to shoot the invading russians in the whitehouse. I did that then me and 3 NPCs went further, then nothing happened for 5 minutes. I then realised that my commander is behind, went back and the little f*cker was stuck between a chair and the wall, had to reply the bit for three times, then got pissed off and threw a grenade at him only to kill him. He then run away outside an 'OBJECTIVE COMPLETE' my point is that you should try some random stuff to see it might work, you never know.

Okay, im having some problems with Escuela of the streets,

 

You have to follow that drug guy, and when he gets to the warehouse he's supposed to go in, but when i play that mission, he just parks his car by the warehouse door, and stays in the car

 

WHAT CAN I DO????????

 

I'm kinda hoping that the patch will fix it

To see the yellow marker you must do this:

1. Open editor or notepad and write this -width 512 -height 384 and then name the document commandline and save it in your GTA4 installation folder where the gta4exe and the launcher is now the game start at this resolution and when you are at the point where the dealer stop you will see the yellow marker. When you done the mission delete -width 512

-height 384 and you can play anlong the game in better graphic. For me was this the method what works.

I made only a small modification!

 

instead of 512/ 384, I used:

 

-width 512 -height 409,6

 

saved as commandline.txt

 

these values make the screen exactly aspect ratio 5:4

 

the yellow marker appeared!!!

 

I had played this part so many times, with no marker, killed so many cops, got their weapons (no cheats, just keep killing them until they run out, they stop showing up, you can even use the warehouse as a scene. just aim at the door and wait.

 

or, even better, do it in the stairs of your home and then just pick up the guns later. If you save the game with all the bodies around the stairs, the bodies disappear but the guns remain!

I had the same problem, you play the mission and when the dealer stops his car, a yellow arrow is supposed to appear on the road behind him but it doesn't. I have solved it by reducing the graphics settings to a minimum until the resource usage is below the indicated maximum, then I changed the aspect ratio to 4:3. I played the mission, and when the dealer stops his car, a yellow arrow appeared behind me. Moving your car to the yellow arrow will trigger a cut-scene to continue the mission.

Run the game in SafeMode for that mission in particular

i had same problem untill (pc) 5 min ago-i tried to hold almost 2 cars away from him,i lost 2cars way at almost last turn,at last turn i tryed arcelate to get the 2 cars between distance back but i acidentaly hit him (because of gta iv acient brakes),i tough i am gonna fail mission because of that but then i started driving backward and when i returned camera to back i saw the golden ARROW.i had minimum graphics and VCync was off(seen on graphic reculation),and clip save was on

lol i got same problem but i fixed by before he get there stay away from like 500 yard(in game) and then press stop or menu for 5-10second then now slowly drive to him its works! if its not working try it again
