n30domy
This will fix your 360 gamepad controoler WIRELESS for pc ANALOG TRIGGERS Modify registry , go to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\MediaProperties\PrivateProperties\Joystick\OEM ( here u will have to search for your gamepad ) VID_045E&PID_02A1 (in my case) , change the OEMName , instead of Controller (Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows) put exactly this : "XNA Gamepad" Do this on all regs in OEM with OEMName "Controller (Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows)" , and u've got ur ANALOG TRIGGERS WORKING PROPPERLY . This fix is for XP only for the moment it seems. Make sure the gamepad changes its name in control panel gamepads. Craigybabes
You Diamond Geezer. I hereby award you 9000 Internets for your valiant efforts in the face of R* stupidity. I'm on Vista and it's held in the same Key Name {VID_045E&PID_02A1}. Perhaps a backup of that string would be wise in case incoming patches need it just so. Good work sir. Bumpidy bumpidy bump... [EDIT] No more strangling myself with the wired controller when I want to chill on the sofa with the big screen. You've made my day Edited December 10, 2008 by Craigybabes
elcaras
Does this trick prevent you from using your 360 gamepad as native xinput in other games?
