And I don't think claiming the whole release is defective will fly (even if it's completely true) Usually the CD-key is locked to a GFW account, but seeing as how in this case you enter it externally via the activation, this might be an exception... WHY DIDN'T ROCKSTAR DO THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SOOO MUCH EASIER FOR YOU TO DO IT NOW WE HAVE TO DO IT THE HARD WAY! f*ckers... i don't know a single game that dosent compensate for z bias in certain graphics cards. Its just how our series preforms and reads things differently. not matter what you do to settings it wont change it. we need a patch for this. </end rant> Sorry just really pissed cause its sooo damn ugly. unchaineddb Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 (edited) I'm Bumping this sh*t again to remind Rockstar what a pathetic half job they did on optimizing the z bias for certain sensitive GPU's which really i have never EVER seen before on such a large scare with ONE exception in which a patch was released the day after release to fix it. and they sencerly apologized about it. i hope your happy with yourself mr rockstar. No difference. Patched and latest drivers obviously didn't help either. When will R* Toronto do something about this? Are you out there developers? I just though its was some wierd half breed type, but the things with the posters and building shadows and stuff takes the PISSSSSSS, especially when it happens with cards in the mid-distance..!!! Weses Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 I think that's what the blur effect is for when you press P. The console had that effect enabled permanently, it blurred out the rough edges and made the shadows a lot less grainy. Though the shadows on your pictures seem a lot more messed up... try the blur effect. I hate it too as it basically blurs out the whole game and its textures, but it's there for the simple reason of making the game seem less rough than it already is.
