Cannot create file "C\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\asilog.txt". Access Denied."

Try running the GTA IV Launcher in Administrator mode.

 

Right-click the shortcut, click "run as administrator".

 

If that works change the properties of the shortcut to run as administrator.

Hi guys,

I've got a freaking tiring problem, i'm trying to solve it five days in a row and i've got enough...

I installed ASI Loader to avoid issue with EFC20 but when i turn EFLC on, there's an error: Sorry, but this version of gtaiv.exe is not supported. Supported versions: 1.0.3us, 1.0.4us, 1.0.0.4.

I know this problem was taken up many times but i've got 1.0.0.4 v. so it seems to be meaninglessly...

Hey having problem with asi loader. It causes my game to crash whenever it finishes loading(also causes it to take x10 longer to load untill said crashing)

Running version 1.0.4.0 with a launcher from (now deleted) steam install(which is of course patched upto 1.0.6.0, which is why i have this install) both gtaiv and launcher set to run as administrator. Running windows 7 x64, with uac disabled. As well as filecheckfix.asi and efc20fix.asi

eh, for you guys having problems with the ASI loader, you should try out YAASIL instead.

I haven't had any problems with that loader.

If i understand you, and i probably don't, yes you have to use launchgtaiv.exe as that is were the drm is.

I also get a crash.

I'm using GTA IV 1.0.6.0 and I installed the newest version of xliveless.dll.

 

Does anyone know what to do?

do u also have the scripthook for 1.0.6.0

 

EDIT: a script mod is using net scripthook which require asi loader and scripthook. but if u mean an asi mod u just need a scriphook

so u only needs an asi loader for the current patch ur game is running with and the scripthook also need to could run with the patch u r using

Asi loader not support GTA IV. Scripthook either. Pls release a new release.

ive updated my gta iv to 1.0.7.0 & eflc to 1.1.2.0 extracted the Simple Native Trainer v5.9 by sjaak327 into the game folders the games loade fine

 

but the trainer does not work if i put the old asi loader (dsound.dll) into the game folder the game wont start full stop

ive tried the Yaasil asi same thing happens if i use the xliveless i can not use gfwl so thats no good either

 

the problem is the dsound i hope its update soon to support 1.0.7.0 & 1.1.2.0

if anyone finds an update for the asi loader please post the link

i added all the files i needed. (from the 2 links you gave us) but when i want to start the trainer it still wont work. do i need a new version of the simple native trainer 2???

ive removed the traier.asi and .ini but even when i put them in my gta 4 folder it doesnt work wink.gif

Yes, it works great on GTA IV 1.7 - EFLC 1.2

I just using a new scripthook and work! I'm using Simple Native Trainer 6.0 on GTA IV and GTA:EFLC
