Hi since my reinstall of GTA4 from a Steam game to retail (1.0.0.4) the ASI loader no longer works. Specifically the first person mod isn't given an address in asilog.txt

do you have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware full version? if you do, disable the protection and website blocking before you try going on the website, it blocks that website for some reason, after your done with it just re-enable it

Hi, I have a problem with the steam versions of both GTA4 and EFLC.

 

I've done everything I can so far, copied everything into the right place (the .asi loader, the EFC20fix, and the file check fix), and I still keep on a getting a message that it's not compatible with this version, and that it's only compatible with versions 1.0.0.2 and 3 and 4 and such...I would've thought the Steam versions were already fully updated.

 

EDIT: The error, word for word: "Sorry, but this version of gtaiv.exe is not supported . Supported versions : 1.0.3us, 1.0.4us, 1.0.0.4"

I suspect that was just coincidence rather than the actual cause. I haven't been able to access Alex's site for the last couple of days either, but this morning I can. I don't have Malwarebytes installed and haven't changed any of my settings, so I would imagine that the problem - whatever the cause - was at Alex's end.

r u sure u r using the right asi loader but patch 1.0.0.4 for IV should work because i'm using it in my game and it works perfectly

u must have the scripthook for either gta iv 1.0.0.4 or 1.0.6.0 and the asi loader must be for 1.0.0.4 and idk if there's one for 1.0.6.0 who works with eflc 1.1.1.0

Hi, I have a problem with the steam versions of both GTA4 and EFLC.

i dont think you need the filecheckfix anymore, in the newest gta4(original) patch it says "Enhanced security to isolate users from cheaters and hackers" and i have modded handling, sounds, and a trainer with no filecheckfix and i can still get online. im not sure if its the same with the addon ones.

Am I the only one who's got a problem with mods that doesn't work in the new patch? Cause my GTA starts up as normal but when I get ingame my mods aren't working at all. Help? confused.gif

The ASI Loader v1.0.2b works for all versions of GTAIV v1.0.2.0 and later including GTAIV v1.0.6.0 and works for the EFLC standalone disk version.

trainer and scripthook: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/simple-nat...ainer-v55-f2115 (the script hook is for gta iv 1.0.6.0 and eflc 1.1.1.0)

 

asi loader: http://Alexander.SannyBuilder.com/Files/IVAsiLoader.rar (this is the asi loader for patch 1.0.0.4 but it works with eflc 1.1.1.0)

I can`t get Simple Native trainer1.4 to work for Patch#6 using the script hook and ASI loader sad.gif

dude. i think 1.4 only works with patch 1.0.1.0 and the only simple native trainer who works for gta iv 1.0.6.0and eflc 1.1.1.0 is 5.4 and 5.5

It isn't working for me. I downloaded the new C++ Scripthook but the mods still don't work.

Hey guys, sorry to bother.

 

I got a kind of a problem. The dsound.dll crashes my game when I press "play". (on the desktop menu).

It gives me an error saying (translated from Danish Windows to english):

"Grand Theft Auto IV stopped working."

I look at the details and it says the error module is called:

"kernel32.dll"

 

Now I press "terminate program" or "close program" or whatever it's called on the english Windows Vista, and it gives me a pop up with the text:

(the window in the process line is called "Application Error") "Exception EFCreatedError in module DSOUND.dll at 000116C5. Cannot create file "C\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\asilog.txt". Access Denied."

It's killing me 'cause I hate to watch youtube videos of the Simple Native Trainer and LCPDFR mod confused.gif

It worked before, but I uninstalled the game. Now I installed the game again and it worked weirdly. There was DEP at the scripthook.dll and I could not use any script mods using scripthook. Now I updated the game and it wont even let me get an asi loader installed.

 

I'd appreciate any helping hand.

Try running the GTA IV Launcher in Administrator mode.

 

Right-click the shortcut, click "run as administrator".

 

If that works change the properties of the shortcut to run as administrator.
