smokinjoe Posted April 9, 2010 Share Posted April 9, 2010 I download the three files in the first post IVAsiLoader.rar IV.EFC20FIX.rar IV.FileCheckFix.rar and I follow all directions but game will not start up - the game plays perfect any other time but I cant use any asi mods (like spawn bodyguard which is the one I really want) until I get a working ASI loader - im using the 64 bit version of Vista, and Ive heard that other Vista users are having similar problems - has anyone come up with a working version for Vista 32/64 ? I used to have it working on Vista 32bit, before I went onto Windows 7 32bit (which doesn't work right now for me). urm, you might want to try something I posted a few pages ago - disabling DEP and UAC. just use the search on the bottom of the page to find my post. crevlthe Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

LOSEROCK Posted April 16, 2010 Share Posted April 16, 2010 I got the game working again after downgrading the patch back to what i previously had before 1.0.6.0 then re-installed Social Club from the RGSC folder in my GTA IV directory. You need to move the data2.cab file from your GTA IV DVD to the RGSC folder first. I have be in free modes with other players who claim they're using nixomod 2, & some claim to still be able to use trainers. For me GTA4pc is incredibly boring without mods. None of my mods work, my nixomod loads but does not turn on. I've used verious trainers, asi loaders, & other things to help me mod GTA4pc. If there are working mods for GTA4pc or EIFL (or both) please assist me in how to get this working. I have sent out emails & called windows live complaining about how they blocked out mods. Thank you for your time. If you're still working on this please at least let me know. I know you probably are getting alot of messages about this subject eversince that last update.
