Rockstar replied that the game is meant to be played on future PC's, NASA Replies that they cannot afford another project due to the economic crisis. December 4th, 2008. THE CERN: After further analisis, scientists at the CERN base extracted a somewhat unusual object from within the 27KM long machine. What seems to be the cause of all of this hassle is a Grand Theft Auto IV PC-DVD. December 5th, 2008. THE CERN: Hours have been spent researching the fault of this accident, the scientists finally have answers. After a Rockstar Tech Support member made his way through a thorough scan of the huge system, it was announced that the super machine was not capable of running such a product and thus resulted in a fatal error causing the system to seize. It is still unknown who attempted to install such a complex application but the staff at the CERN assure us that there is no danger in regards to the machine, they also let us know that the FBI have been called in to investigate. DML Posted December 7, 2008 Share Posted December 7, 2008 There's a rumor going around that the developers behind FRAPS are thinking about a new addition in the next version - with which when certain games (GTA IV) drop too far in the frame-rate, the reading will switch from frames-per-second, to seconds-per-frame. Just a rumor I think, but it may be handy for quite a few people.
