But some sort of update would surely be good. The problem is that if they where to say "release in a week" MANY MANY people would start screaming that they have lied and it takes to long and blah blah..... It comes when it comes. GFW does not really do its job. Take PES09 fx. It was GFW but when released, nobody could play it online. A patch was released VERY quickly to solve those problems though but still. Since Grand Theft Auto IV is a Games For Windows – Live game the patch must be certified by Microsoft before release. The patch is already at Microsoft and we expect a speedy approval. Issues with power management software have also been fixed (slow speed, double speed issues). Even after the patch comes out setting power management software to maximum performance is recommended. We’ve seen cases where power management software does not detect the game is running and puts the CPU in green mode.
