TruXter 0
see the part where it says "auto config"? try and turn that off.
McDodge34 63
Here's the solution (true one worked fine) Get the hidden files and system files visible in your computer Get into your "Documents and settings folder\your username\Local Settings\Application Data\Rockstar Games\" and delete the content of the folder settings (warning this will also erase all your controls config also) (this folder is called simply "Users" on Windows Vista)
Guerillero 0
Same problem :'( I tried to find "Documents and settings folder\your username\Local Settings\Application Data\Rockstar Games\Settings\" but this filepath doesn't exist. I see the hidden files and directories. I suck!
McDodge34 63
You're on Vista right, the folder is called Users there directly on the C:\drive it could be in your language (I'm french so the folder name is Utilisateurs in my case)
Guerillero 0
Je parle le français, aussi. J'ai très bien trouvé les dossiers pertinents mais le dossier /settings/ n'existe pas dans la racine même en regardant les invisibles. I said I just found the good path but the directory doesn't exist. I already checked after some hidden directories or files but nothing.
Rod6er 0
thats because youre going directly in mydocuments/rockstar games. Go through the C:\users\blalblbaalbbla and you should find the settings folder. DONT GO THROUGH MY DOCUMENTS! it's in appdata not mydocuments thats why you cant find it. livilaNic 2
Odd that updating the display driver did this. Had me all confused. Thanks for the help.
siapnar 0
Yeah it did this after upgrading to 8.12 beta drivers. I'll try deleting the files in the settings folder. Thanks
