Xfering Saved games from one PS3 to another?

I've been playing GTA4 with a friend of mine for weeks now, and we save the game on the USB Key and copy it to the other PS3 and it works fine.........That is until last night with the latest update. It wont' load the game......it says the save wasn't created on this PS3...

 

Is there a work around for this??
