alg0801
i have core 2 duo E8600 @ stock speed 3.33ghz...with a good aftermarket fan i can get a 1ghz overclock with my asus striker II extreme mobo...currently i get 25-40fps would doing this show a nice fps increase or be a waste of time and money? other system specs: 4gb ddr3 1800mhz ram geforce gtx280 windows vista ultimate x64 note: i overclocked the video card just to test if it was being used and showed LITERALLY a 0 fps increase at my settings...therefore my bottleneck, as you all know (and i already knew this as well), is in my cpu. Th3 ProphetMan
It will surely increase performance since the game is hard on the CPU but be extremely cautious with overclocking
NIPSEN
I've overclok mine after reading Tutorial, just put FSB from 333 to 400 and lock Vcore, from 3Ghz i'am now to 3.6 (24fps to 40 fps now !) .
