hwarrior
Hello all, This may work for players with more recent geforce cards. In the advanced view in the nvidiacontrol panel, look for ''set PhysX configuration'' and enable it. Don't worry if you don't have an AEGIS card, what this option does is assigns physics processing to the GPU instead of the CPU. I get 54fps in the benchmark test at 1156 x 864 @100hz low everything. My specs: Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz 4MB RAM 9800GTX+ 4core1333-esata2 Win XP 32bit.
Neon25
That's a good score for 4 megabytes of RAM. Haha, sorry, it is such a lame joke but I couldn't stop myself.

Apo-TTCC
Well that feature is enabled by default, so i think checking that for a performance boost does not apply to most of the users. Except those who disabled it for whatever reason of course. Edit On the RAM: I doubt that, because XP 32bit only recognizes 3.5GB max if using 4GB, some people get even less. Thats a limitation everyone has to deal with unfortunately. Rightclick on 'My Computer' and click on 'Properties' to see how much RAM is recognized and can be used. medfreak
It's probably useless. Physx only works with games that support physx. GTA IV implements Euphoria, an entirely different set of code that does not calculate on the GPU. Simply enabling the Physx option on the Nvidia panel is not the only step in games that support Physx. You have to also find an option in the game where you enable Physx support. Sorry, but this is probably useless.
Zorgus
it's also enabled by default, so unless someones turned it off for some strange reason, no boosts here
Th3 ProphetMan
it's also enabled by default, so unless someones turned it off for some strange reason, no boosts here Not only that, i tried to disable just for curiosity to see if the game actually makes use of physx. i see no difference enabled or disabled. Since enabling should take work out of the cpu this should make a considerable difference but i didn't notice any difference in fps.
