5m0k3y
I feel the same way as a lot of the people commenting on that item. It looks to me like they spent 2 days porting the game to PC, and the rest of the 8 months filling it with their *gollums voice* "preciousssss" SuckROM, which cost $200k and failed catastrophically. medfreak
Nice to see some mainstream gaming sites shedding some light on the problem. Affecting R*'s reputation could stimulate them to do something about it, or at least not repeat this mistake with the next GTA.

foxfire29
Yeah I lost faith in gamespot a while ago but its about time they stopped the corporate apologist metality and got back to independant non vested interest truthful reviewing, glad to hear about this. (I got a review locked on GS for posting an honest review "- any profanities" about space force rogue universe so I stopped using the site as I percieved them to be bought over but they gain alot of respect again for publishing in an unbias way once again) N.B Hope rockstar listens as this is turning out like a milder version of how spore turned out, problem is EA didnt listen on many things such as DRM and about NOT releasing stupid packs like the parts pack and turning it into the sims with hundreds of expansions with little content, they didnt listen and the game is massivly failing, hopefully rockstar will put gamers first and not publishers endorsing rootkits and shoddy development practices Edited December 7, 2008 by foxfire29

You not played Stalker Clear Sky then? That game was and is riddled with bugs. Game breaking bugs.... Trash. Shame actually because it is a good game =/
STKD
"Meybe after the patch, things would be different" Lets hope so... This whole thing has to be the game-release fail of the year. You not played Stalker Clear Sky then? That game was and is riddled with bugs. Game breaking bugs.... Trash. Shame actually because it is a good game =/ That's ironic since the .005 patch Clear Sky has run *flawlessly* on my PC... I regularly alt-tab back to the desktop and it hasn't crashed or bugged out on me once. In DX10 at full settings too... which is a damn sight more than CTD IV has managed so far. Beginning to think the patch will actually add a game after the Rockstar logo.
spencer_foxwell
Yeah they did fix some of the harsher bugs true, but some people myself included STILL cannot use DX10 unless I don't mind crazy green triangles flying through the air when it rains and dire frame rate drops
