Registration ends on the 1st of Dec, 3rd of Dec the first round roster is announced for PS3 and 360. The PC tournament will be delayed a week so people can have some fun when IV gets released.

It's good to see someone actually pull their finger out and try start this, rather than all talk and no walk. The other 2 threads just seemed like they wanted to be the one with the idea but not actually start organising sh*t.

 

Anyways, nice to see this.

 

How many players per team will be allowed? I mean in the actual MP game. Such as 6v6 etc.

edit : Phusion, how about, you make the SA:MP and VC:MP meet first, then the PS3 and 360 IV meets, and then the IV PC meets

[Gang Tournament]

PS3 and Xbox meets are 4v4. They will begin on the 5th of December, the time spent before that will go into rostering, planning and finalizing times. I hope for the whole tournament to take a week each, with games being played each day then every night results are posted. After your gang registers please get a list of at least 4 members (8 maximum) of members who will be playing for each console, post their time zones.

 

Times and dates will be set, if your whole gang misses a match you forfeit for that console.

 

Registration has been bumped forward to the 25th of November

 

As for PC, the content is still being decided, but I believe the 26th is a good enough date.

 

The gap between the PC and console tournament is because I go on holidays for a week, unless someone is willing to take over they can't be changed.

What if a gang doesn't have 4 members to patricipate? Is it allowed for them to get 3 people ?

If a gang has less than 4 members then they can otherwise

 

A) Recruit on GTAF

B) Call in a reserve from another gang (must be approved first)

C) Call in a friend from a different site (must also be approved first)

I'm no longer in a clan, I'm just wondering whether to create a team for this tournament or join an existing clan to participate.

For SA-MP players I suggest we do DM, everyone must kill other players, not teammates. The gang which killed the most, wins.

Good idea man, although it would be better if it was 6 on each team for Ps3 and Xbox, coz gang fights are meant to be gangs not hook ups of 3 if u know what i mean

I agree with Joe. 6 players per team would be better, would make it more clan like.

 

Also would be good if the big clans could enter 2 teams. Like an A team and B team etc. More teams means more games and a better tournament.

I think 4 on 4 is enough. You can select up to 8 players, so you can rotate them per matches.

 

6 player matches are just too much, and it could lead to lag.

Damn it, Exiles PC side needs the AMG members to move in first, and I won't have the PC version until at least Christmas; maybe we can go off and recruit some members.

Here are a few contests for PC gamers. SA:MP and VC:MP are the preferred games. MTA has not been taken into consideration, as it isn't as popular as SA:MP or VC:MP.

 

Custom scripted gamemodes are to be used in SA:MP, which will be publicly available for your analysis. The main problem with is the availability of a good server. It must provide an optimum latency to all the participants. Please lets us know of any hosting ideas.

 

That said, these could be the probable events:

 

SA:MP

• Team Deathmatch
• Capture the Flag, Rivershell
• Defend the Base, Area 51
• Turf Wars
• Recon

VC:MP

• Deathmatch
• No ideas, please post yours.

IV

• Team DeathMatch
• Mafiya Work
• No ideas, please post yours.

For IV, besides the two, you can go with GTA Race, or just Race.

 

As for SA:MP, will there be a Race competition as well?

I think for IV the competition should be in TDM, TW and another game mode, perhaps Team mafiya work, team car jack city or cops n crooks.

@Andyserb: As far as I know, only the Loonies and the SRS play VC:MP. Any other gang here which plays VC:MP? If not, we'll have to stick to just SA:MP and IV.
