Missing Texture Issues etc - Potential fixes

Just came across SteamPowered Forums that attempts to fix the missing texture issues I appear to be having and from what I read, alot of others as well.

 

At work right now so I'll need to wait until this evening to try removing and reinstalling the latest Nvidia drivers... that I already have! But maybe it'll help some others in the mean time.

Continuing in my quest to be productive and constructive I have just noticed that R* have added loads of updated documentation and potential fixes to their R* Support Site.

 

Hopefully this might resolve some issues for people.

Known issues related to video cards and drivers:

 

* Owners of Nvidia 7900 Series Cards - Click here for critical information about graphics issues.

* Owners of ATI cards and Nvidia cards that are not in the 7900 Series Cards - Click here if experiencing missing textures.

* Owners of ATI Series Cards - Click here for a fix to image quality (blacked-out textures) with certain MipMap detail settings are used.

* Owners of ATI 1900 Series - At present the shadows may flicker and form large triangles in some instances. A patch will be released soon to correct this issue.
