topeira Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 hey everyone. saved games related questions: where the heck are they? 1) where are the offline saves?! 2) where are the online saves? 3) can i continue playing offline from an online save or visa versa? means - can i save an offline save and then get to my online account and continue from that offline save? 4) if i uninstall GTAIV will my saves be stored? if so, where? McDodge34 Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 Makes me wonder if we can ever share them, would love a 100% savegame (I know probably no one is there right now, I can wait 2-3 weeks or a month if needed) cause I'll be stuck around 36-37% of gameplay if I can remember where I was stuck on PS3 version, there was no normal usefull cheats (inf health, real no police and inf ammo) to help me out, so I expected maybe in the PC version we will have a trainer to help, but since its a GFWL thing, it seems the simpliest trainer would never work with their stupid system on. I agree, I HATE it that a whole lot of the new games bloody hides the savegames like ninjas, I mean, WHY? I want to do backups, and since I reinstalled windows recently, I forgot about doing backups on those hidden files, so I lost a lot of savegames, such a shame. Countdown Posted December 6, 2008 Share Posted December 6, 2008 After registering and activating online (normal way ) - You don´t have the possibility to offline game saving - also You can´t load those games when offline (that really sucks because indeed those savefiles are physically saved to Your own computer - as hidden) IT WAS PROMISED THAT YOU DON´T NEED TO BE ONLINE TO PLAY SINGLE PLAYER -- SO WHAT IS THIS ....
