Laths Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 I'm in London, UK. I pre-ordered GTAIV from GAME.co.uk two months ago. They said, they'll send the game prior to the release. So they shipped mine on Monday, but I still haven't got it yet. This is annoying. Is there anyone else experiencing the same ordering thing in the UK? I ordered mine back in october and it was shipped monday, finally landed on my doorstep at midday on thursday. Order status log 01/12/2008 - Your order has been dispatched. 01/12/2008 - Your order is currently being picked and packed. 01/12/2008 - Your credit/ debit card has been authorised and your order is now being released for packing. Funds will not be debited until your order is shipped. 01/12/2008 - Your order is waiting for authorisation and release for packing. 25/11/2008 - Your order is currently held as a Preorder Arrived around midday on Wednesday for me, (Glasgow). Zeta Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 (edited) Ok m8 heres my Story, I didnt preorder I went to Game on Wedensday phoning prior they said no not in stock to friday, I have 4 game stores in 9mile radius to my House went to the main City, I asked have you recieved your delivery of GTAIV? he said come back in 20minutes we just recieved our delivery.. Upon Coming back to the shop 30minutes later I asked so any GTAIV he said let me check so he went and Checked came back and said yes, Then went on the computer thru there wee notepad said it wasnt released to Friday as they dont Normally release games on a Wedensday I assured him it was released today and he said I have to go make a few phone calls off he went... 20minutes later he came down with my copy... upon going to the checkout one of the Employee's lifted the game (must have been thinking what is this doing here its not released to friday) I said here buddy that's my copy he said its not out to friday, I argued with him he checked computer,book again, I said ask the manager he was just of the phone confirming it, He went oh ok np Sorry Sir, I was like its ok. So I was probably the first one in the City to get a copy as I phoned them all and only 1 didnt answer their phone and thats the one i tried... So the moral of the story... Games Staff need to be better informed. As this game should have been stacked on the shelves not having to go thru bickering and argueing to get a copy lol... So make sure you ask have you recieved your delivery for GTAIV yet (dont ask have you got GTAIV cuz they prob say not till friday like the other 3 Game store's did.) Royal Mail must be very busy. By the way, I already contacted GAME about it on wednesday, They said "you need to wait 10 days bla bla bla" thing.
